Plot hole question at 1:40:00 Richard partitions his mind again. How exactly does he do that without access to his gift. I know someone's going to say you can't take your gift away from anyone unless they're dead. That is true but you can cut them off from it they've proven that in I think it was blood of the fold when Zed and Ann did it. So if he is truly cut off from his power and his magic how do you do it cuz according to the first book only wizards can do that
Goodkind is full of plot holes. Put them to one side and enjoy the concepts, straighten them out in your own mind and live by the morals of Richard Rhal. 🤣
As I listen to Jag Ang tell Caylan about Jah Lah and women, i'm betting that the prophecy about "dividing his swarm" is a reference to a Jah Lah game with Richard as point man!
This book(author) is a bit heavy rape-eeeee...... I dont get bothered easily when it comes to life and literature, but geez. Havent we established how evil the villians are etc. ? Otherwise, gonna continue and listen to them all lol. Thanks for these vids
Yeah the imperial order is all about the rape. However I have read other books that are f****** horrible with it I actually owned a book that I had to throw away and refuse to read any more of that guy's writing because it was all about rape and almost morally justified rape which I don't see how you morally justify rape in any situation
There is a moral baseline to work from for any philosophical, political or societal developement, the exchange between JagAng and Kaylan is excellent..but i do agree that we get the point already
This book shouldn't be called phantom it should be called rape. If you took out all the acts of rape all the descriptions of rape and all the threatening of rape there is probably only about half hour of actual story worth listening to. I think the author has issues.
I think he does that to really make it sink in how bad it gets and make the reader feel it later on. I felt the same when Richard was caught by dena, the constant torture. But now any small reference back to that time hits you right away. At least that what I think is going on. What I cant stand is the constant recaps of previous books.
@@buLLetpOe yes, but do you remember than it was Zed that gave the sword of truth to Richard and named him seeker, and that khalan made it all this way to the Westland to find the first wizard?
Have you read any of the other books or listen to any of the other books. If so you would realize that this is like the only one that has a good amount of rape in it. And that's because it shows how evil and corrupt these people are it's in there for a point.
And I agree rape is a horrible thing and should never be committed much less talked about but let's face it. The time it took you to read this book or listen to this book and hear about all the rapes there were probably the same amount of rapes that you just heard about happening in real life while you're reading this. It's a huge f****** problem. And hopefully if you're disappointed about hearing from rape about rape in this book hopefully you'll take that outside and possibly do something about it. It also conveys a very good message to rape victims you are not to blame you are a victim don't ever feel ashamed about it there was nothing you could do.
Guys I need the rest of the book. What happened? When? How?
Where do I get the next book, please?

@@mikemchugh694 it gets very repetitive and tedious to get threw. But its I suppose to keep the story line moving.
