Part 3 (if you want to acknowledge it, I understand if you don't) retconned this. In that movie the Creeper gets caught in his own trap with a shitty cgi spike through the side of his head and he loses an eye. This throws off his entire balance and movement, to remedy this he kills a random trucker and presumably takes their eyes. So both Darry and that trucker died and lost their eyes for nothing.
I really like how this movie ended with the creeper being tied up as an attraction but don’t understand why he stitched it up and at least separated it.
Honestly, Once the creeper is dormant, and you find its body, It's pretty easy to dispose of it You just separate each limb, and cast each in concrete, and then lock the concrete block in a locked steel box, and bury them in separate places, there's no way he'd ever be able to regenerate a new body
@@jesusramirezromo2037the ending kinda makes no sense...how the hell did he get his arm and leg and wing back if they were ripped off and struggled to get up chasing D
I agree. This is better than the original. The opening with Billy and the Creeper as the scarecrow draws you in & then the bus scenes were terrifying! I like the color scheme too!
Man, I saw this when I was 12 and it absolutely terrified me. I watched it because my dad's friend misled me and made me think it was about a killer scarecrow. I was so freaked out by JC2 that I refused to watch horror movies and became jittery if I had to move around in the open under the night sky. It took four years before I could watch another horror movie and eventually I threw myself into the horror genre to make myself lose my fear. Since then, no movie has affected me the same, but I'll never forget the impact of this one.
Glad you got to react to this one. Didn't seem like you enjoyed it as much. I think the humor makes it one of my guilty pleasures over part 1 but just my opinion. "Scotty wtf was it!" is an all time movie line😂 Looking forward to your future reactions.
I haven't seen these in years upon years, but from what I remembered, I like the more serious tone of the first one as well. I'm not the biggest fan of comedy in horror movies in general because most of the time, it defaults to just being raunchy jokes, which is obviously not the case with this film. But comedy just instantly takes me out of the moment. The only instance where I actually was pleasantly surprised by the comedic aspect of the dialogue as well was with It: Chapter 1. Maybe because it was between kids, it didn't go too dirty or become unbelievable. It fit with how the characters regularly spoke, dialogue-wise, if that makes sense. Plus I just love Justin Long so I was a bit salty going into this one XD
@@deadsetondreams1988 That's funny b/c I haven't seen either in ages either but this one was more memorable to me...i actually hardly remember the first one. To each I suppose

Just found out recently that there's a 4th one coming out. I wouldn't say the 3rd one was awful but I definitely wouldn't watch it a second time. I've seen a lot of awful movies as I often like to watch B movies. Comparing it to a B movie, its not that bad. But it also didn't do to great. I think the 3rd one had a budget of around $6.2 mill and it only made just over $4 mill. Where as Jeepers Creepers 2 had a budget of around $17 mill and made $63 mill.
It probably didn't get as much funding because it was around that time when people started finding out that the director was a convicted creep and boycotting the movie. Timeline wise I'm not sure if people found out before it was filmed or afterward, but I remember seeing everywhere people saying they wouldn't watch it. The studio probably gave him less money, knowing that not many people would watch it. Not sure the real reason, though, just throwing out a guess.
Got to correct movie fusion about the 23 days rules..the Creeper will do anything to get you during that 23 days..if you survive it and say move away during the 2 decades he is not active, he isn't traveling hundreds of miles 23 yrs later in his beat up truck, so assuming you aren't around 23 yrs later in the area he wakes Up, you are fine...only those within his hunting area are in danger.
The sequel definitely ups the action sequences. The third is definitely best to to watch on your own. I don't see too many people watching that reaction to be honest.
I think you should react to the 3rd too. So the director didn't think of making another one after that for like 23 years. But someone came up with a loophole. So this is the last day from the same timezone. The third movie is AFTER he took Darry. The reason why i said it for you to watch that. 3rdvwas supposed to be "Jeepers Creepers : Cathedral" . I heard the script was good too. But it was high compared to what they gave us- A low budget movie. That red shirt teacher was a thief in the 1st one if you remember. For stealing the car lol The weapon goes back to him. He , i think , carved the dagger of him taking the man's son from the field. The belly button is of Darry (tatted). He took his son's eyes, that is why he have blue eyes. To me , creepy giving eyes and hand gestures kinda made him comical. And yes, the se actor (Jonathan Breck)
You kind of look like Darry. Kinda. I think I told you that about a year or so ago too In a comment. Jeepers Creepers is one of my favorite horror movies of all time. Jeepers 2 is just as good as the first. I especially like the beginning scene with the Creeper pretending to be a scarecrow. It’s one the best daytime scenes of horror, in my opinion.
I know that the director of the first three movies is a literal Creeper, but JC2 is iconic. Similar to how most people think of the log truck in Final Destination 2 when you say “Final Destination”, I think of the school bus sequences when you say “Jeepers Creepers”.
The skill of the filmmaking alone is something to be admired. Long stretches of road are beautifully lit... the wide shots reveal just how much. That is old Hollywood type filmmaking and it turns a seemingly b-movie creature-feature into a horror-adventure of sorts. It's a minor touch but as a filmmaker and film school graduate, it pops out to me. This movie lights up a desolate country landscape like it's a Spielberg movie... that's ballsy.
Only problem I have with that attitude is you don't believe ppl can grow and change for the better ( this is a teen so he definitely can mature as a person) you can't really do that if you are dead you know.
As much as I love the first two movies, it is uncomfy knowing what the director did. Especially when the antagonist is called "the Creeper" and seems to solely target young men and boys...
@@donnybuoy I heard he did that to switch it up from the main victims always being female, but after knowing about him it seems more like a cover-up reason tbh
