Great video! Really appreciate it! Wondering if you are interested to watch some Singapore game? (e.g. mixed division wu24 last year or the upcoming worlds) They do lots of handler dominantors and leading throw like leo did here. 😊
Great analysis, but I find it a little disappointing that 2 players can completely dominate in a team sport with 20+ players on each side. But I guess development has to be secondary to results when university rosters change so much each year.
I think it's extra evident here bc if you're trying to win a championship, you gotta go with what's gonna win. Also, defense is hard against elite level players so that def helps make Jacques and Leo feel more dominant imo. Interesting to see how Brown will be next year 👀
Thanks! I don’t think that’s unique to Ultimate though. You can look at basketball, baseball (i.e. pitchers) that just a few players can have a dramatic impact on a game.
@kurtegibson baseball is an interesting example because pitchers are so specialised in a defined role the opposition can't do much about... whereas ultimate defenders should be able to force these guys to at least do things they're less comfortable with
@@kurtegibsonhe moves the disc so effortlessly and his creativity has definitely made an impact for darkside. Would be cool for you to analyse how he plays compared to the average player
Cal Nightingale deserves a shout
From what Ive watched he also consistently takes one of the opponents best players on the defensive end!
Gotta stay ahead of the rest so watching this as soon as it is uploaded, keep up the grind!

My old ass was hoping out of pure nostalgia this was a Zipperstein throwback.
😂 if only there was good footage to do the same

Appreciate the breakdown - one note is that the "s" in Jacques is silent - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacques.
Glad you enjoyed and thanks for the tip!
Gotta make a video on Rutledge Smith 😤
