Just got my Series 4 today. It’s the best thing Apple offered this year. I upgraded from the Series 3 but I will not be upgrading my iPhone X. I will wait until next year.
How do you know if the upgrade will be worth it next year?
Christian Henriquez-Tant I don’t know if it will be worth it next year; however, I do know this year’s Xs and Xs Max doesn’t offer enough for me to upgrade from my still fast iPhone X at this time.

Just bought a iMac 5k 3.4 ghz and apple watch 4. I'm good with my iPhone 7 plus with ios 12..blazing fast.
For the first time since 2007, I feel like my iPhone X is good enough in all areas, that I’m comfortable with skipping this year.
I also skipped every Apple Watch, until Series 4, which ticks all of my default feature wants at last, primarily the screen and battery life.

Same here, just ordered a Space Grey SS 44mm w/ Milanese loop. I have to wait until the end of October to get it though smh.
Well you don’t have to upgrade. honestly I think yearly upgrades for people is a waste it’s better to wait two to three years.
Christian Henriquez-Tant nice choice! But I know, hate the waiting as well. They fooled us in that Apple keynote vid...they said: order on 14, get on 21st..I ordered on 14,but not here till oct16. Thats for the gold aluminum 44mm. It’ll be sweet when it’s finally on my wrist!
Thank you and yep the wait times are ridiculous. I'm not sure why that is though... Like is it just being manufactured still, is the shipping company backlogged for apple, or are they just playing a sale's card to create urgency in order to influence consumers to place orders as fast as possible? Not really sure but if it's manufacturing then they really need to plan ahead better, isn't that why they get the big bucks? However, IMO it's a sale's tactic because as of 2014 apple has stopped sharing their pre-order data. I should've called apple to order the watch instead of using the online platform. For example, on the iPhone X pre-order day I completely forgot about it and called apple to order about 6 hours after the pre-order launch and received the product the day it was released even when reports said that shipping was pushed out to December if you waited for just minutes to pre-order.
5 years later, I am still rocking the series 4 in 2024. It has and always will be a great offer. It's performance and battery is still great, would still recommend. Nice video.

Received mine today and love it. Bought one for my wife and she’s suitably impressed too. So quick! A bit of penny-pinching though, I had a series zero and the usb induction charging cable was twice the length of the latest one. The new one is quite short for using on a nightstand and for us at least, restrictive as it won’t reach our plug point. So stayed with the original. But gorgeous display and speedy response is awesome! Speakers are super loud. Haptics are much better and the overall experience - well I can actually read emails on the phone! Overall, a much appreciated upgrade. Love your videos too, and we got the same watch Aaron!
John Newbury no no you got it wrong it’s Apple philosophy to reduce cables to nothing and the watch to nothing. Eventually you will just buy air in a branded box. The purest form of art 😂

I am going to update to the new Apple Watch 4 from the original Apple Watch I have now instead of upgrading my iPhone 7 Plus. I have had heart issues in the past so having the ECG will be a nice feature to have.

I kept my iPhone X also. First time in the last 17 years I didn't upgrade my PHONE like I have always .But I did get the new Apple watch series and cant wait to get it tomorow moday the 21st .
I still have my aluminium Apple Watch Sport from 2015. Its now become obsolete because it won’t update to the newest Watch is. But unless it breaks which i know it won’t because I take good care of it and I prefer the silicone band over apples woven nylon as the silicone is more durable and has some stretch/elasticity.
Since you like the band you can put in on the newer one

Is the apple watch sport loop reflective? Is the normal black loop reflective too? Can you male a deeper comparation of both loops?

Are there any differences in the 2 versions like the series 3? Like how the series 3 with cellular came with double the storage. I currently have the series 3 with cellular, but I had it turned off cause I never used it.

Omg... So many reviewers are missing the point with opening this box. :D :D :D This is not how you open it.. You're supposed to lay the box on the table with handles up and then pull the handles together so the box opens. And you have this ''Tadaaaa!!'' wow effect with the print and actual package.

Hey Has anyone else had an issue getting there Apple Watch 4 LTE service to work? My friend and I both preordered and neither of us can get the cell data to activate. The watch app shows an “Enablement Error”

i got mine,but im scared to set it up. I do not want to lose all my hard work i have in my activity app. So far i have had a perfect year with closing all my rings and completing the monthly challenges. I think I am going to wait till Jan 1,2019 when i set it up.
Eric Peterson all your activity workouts should be in your cloud, all backed up. The new watch should transfer all your data. Impressive ring closures BTW!

you skipped the only part i was interested in ,, which was connecting it to your cellular 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
You just tap the option and hit ok. If you don’t have a plan you have to call your carrier to activate it.
I guess if you don't have an iphone you can't set it up? Does the cellular require another subscription with your carrier and if it does will it still work without a subscription for 911? I have heard that even a deactivated phone can still call 911
You have to have an iPhone. The cellular does require an additional cost and subscription, but all features work just fine without using cellular
I can’t view sms text messages on the messages app on my series 4. I can only view iMessages. Is anyone else having this issue?

I did pre-order this watch 9/14 at 3am ish, but I guess I'm the ONLY PERSON ON THE PLANET....in the USA, NY, who DID NOT GET IT TODAY! THE EARLIEST IS OCTOBER 12TH! I'M SOOOOOOOOOOO UPSET! I got the Silver Stainless steel Apple Watch series 4 in 44mm and I'm so bummed watching people unbox their stuff. It's like Christmas but I don't have any presents to open. I know this sounds childish, but it makes me feel awful.

Dave J I'm not the ONLY ONE! Thanks for replying to my message! I swear on RUclips it's like everyone else seems to have everything they ordered from Apple, except for me! All the stainless steel Apple Watches went first and I read it was like in the first 15 MINUTES. I was up at 3am-ish in NY, all poised and ready to order my watch and boom--- it's not coming until between October 12-19th!
I still have issue with the people who were invited to the keynote who got the 2 new iPhones specked out and the Apple Watch and leather cases for each phone. These people can afford everything they were given, but didn't have to pay for them. Just a little bit unfair to say the least.

Don’t get cellular.... just get the standard gps. Waste of money considering the only difference is a little red dot and the ability to leave your phone at the house and call with Your watch. But who doesn’t have their phone on them ? Besides you can do that too with the gps version you just need to have your phone.
