I think people don’t understand the science to Randy singing the original. The male voice isn’t suppose to have much clarity in that register for men let alone perfect tone and breath control. Miley is an alto but it’s not even a challenge for a female voice box to do this. Randy had to reach and put force behind every breath. You lose that with a register like miley.

Randy Meisner was a special talent, and nobody can replace the original. No matter how times he sang it, he was the original. It was beautiful. But with Mike Johnson in the speakership, I like to think of Miley’s version as a lesbian middle finger salute to those dorks in the MAGA slum.😎
