I dont smell any pimento note in Maahir Black, weird. I have Afnan Tribute Blue and this one is pimento beast, after some time of wearing its too much for me
I smelled this at the mall near me, and I was instantly attracted to it I knew I had to have it. The guy was selling it for $54 at the mall, and I knew I wasn’t gonna pay that much for it, so I ordered it and I’m getting it today
Just a theory of mine, but I have made beer before and learned that certain citrus oils or certain qualities of the water can actually change the nose and flavor to have an olive or pimento note. Cologne is made with alcohols, and I can't help wonder if these commonly unlisted pimento notes are accidentally created somehow from the ingredients used, as we see in beer and wine production. Personally I like eating olives and pimento.... can't stand the smell of it in a fragrance though.
Its not that is unusable its just really hard perfume to wear for everyday. Winter time is the best time to use this Maahir Black that smokey fire smell is perfect for this type of time.
Some of the reviews on Amazon say that it smells like a fire pit or if the house just burned down. Could you please address that and elaborate more on what kind of smoke scent it projects ie fire pit, fresh unused cigar scent, burnt cigar, burnt cigarette, house on fire, or some other smoke flavor? Thanks!
Yes it has that sort of cade oil smell to it- it smells the most like theyre using rectified birch tar which has almost a campfire type of smokiness to it- it's quite pleasant actually! I don't find it overbearing to be honest but I could see some saying that it has an ashtray type note in it
To me this smells like you just put off a fire on a thick piece of wood and smell it upclose after half an hour or so but to my parents it smells straight wet tobacco. It's a great layering scent which goes best with sweet/vanilla heavy scents.
I love the bottle. It's crazy how nice they are for the price.

I got the Maahir Black last week, man i cant move on with how it smells, it smells like an incense a very fragrant incense!
