I love how they were both nervous WALKING the toward the edge, but had no problem JUMPING toward oblivion!
Exactly, that was weird.
Because if you jump in a controlled manner, there's little that can go wrong.
If you fall and start spinning, you might not be able to orient yourself for the chute to come out properly. Either that or you're going to hit the tower.
@@mrterrbl8184 You can jump perfectly stable and have a perfectly packed parachute and still have an off heading opening and hit the tower. You minimize it from happening but that's not to say it can't happen.
@@mknight5159 Ok. But I didn't say it was 100% safe. "not much". Implies there's something that may be out of control.

He’s walking across that like he’s not planning on falling anyway.
He is planning on jumping, not falling
@@sergeig685 you jump to fall
If he fell off there, he’d hit the tower
@@caidenpahl7887 The difference is control
@@sergeig685 Yup. Even if he didn't hit the thinner support beams, he still wouldn't be jumping in form, it likely would have caught him off guard, and he may not have pulled his shoot in time. I would assume this shit is very calculated.
These guys are nuts lol. I oscillate rapidly between absolute awe, anxiety, fear, bewilderment, amazement, shock, admiration, you name it.
And boredom.
The first guy nervously walking towards the edge, as the cameraman nonchalantly rushes towards him lol
I have a feeling they were both equally nervous. Their dialog says it all!
I always find it amusing on shows where someone is claiming to be the first one to be somewhere, but the cameraman has obviously gone in first to get the shot of the "first one" coming in. Cameramen get no credit for anything, lol.

The scariest one I ever watched was those guys illegally climbing that tower crane extending from the roof of the nearly completed Shanghai Tower. I have skydived 5 times in my life and was a flight instructor and have done crazy stuff on motorcycles, including crash one once, but I was more scared watching that video for some reason. Freaked me out. This video gave me a similar stomach feeling.
I love that video, it's from OnTheRoofs
Man, you've gotta be quick with that chute.
Yeah Ikr
It's not as bad as it seems. You actually don't accelerate THAT quickly, I doubt he has enough time to get to terminal velocity. If you count you can see he waits a full three seconds before releasing his pilot chute and when you are in free fall 3 seconds can seem like an eternity.
@@tarynnM yeah but at that point he's going so fast and is so close to the ground that if he misses or something goes wrong there's no time for a second chance... at least that's the way it looks.
Exactly! It‘s all really high up and scary until you realise it would be less scary in terms of not dying if it was higher up 😅
@@tarynnM You do accelerate very quickly... After 3 seconds of falling you'll be going at nearly 100km/h or 30 m/s so there are only seconds from hitting the ground left.
I was clinging to the ground, watching this.
Super crazy jump, right?
Thanks for taking the time to watch :)
Lmfao
I’m sitting in bed holding myself, holy crap. No way.
I get like that watching videos like this, too
You too? Like hanging to the ground like you feel there's an abyss jus next to you. Feel this even at night after parachute jumps, waking up in panique. Like I litteraly fall from my bed and clinge to anything by fear of falling upwards. Interresting.
Fantastic!!! I have a fear of heights and don't know how you guys do it. Awesome. Take care guys.
My stomach drops just watching other people do it
Love how this video just goes straight to the point. Not a 10 minutes vlog with red circles on the thumbnail ! cops arrested us !
yea...you hardly ever get zero bullshit on a RUclips video. that's a luxury. 🤣
And opening with "hey what's going on guys...." 🙄
Kind of got to wonder about the people that build these towers without wearing parachutes... Fun video btw.
Those workers had it safer than these folk, it is not that when you wear a parachute it is safe to fall. You have to jump in proper manner to make a safe landing.
+Jim Jones Actually you WOULD hook to the next thing before removing the last hook
Don't even talk about it!
It's called "Stacking a tower" used to climb cell towers and had to stack a few. Its scary but you're always harnessed in. The tower is typically split into pieces of 20ft each and built with a crane. All we do is climb them, put the bolts in (hand tight) and stack it from there.. Kinda scary because it definitely sways, we don't tighten it down all the way until its done with.. Good job, a lot of money. Not deadly if you have some common sense.
hi. I dont build them but I do do climb and do maintenance on towers. You're always strapped on. Lead wire, Y landyard & positioning lanyard. OSHA rule is always 100% tied off. You're actually more likely to die driving a taxi cab, look it up!
Riggers put up that tower and change out those guy wires. Shoutout to my fellow tower riggers doing this everyday unsung heros

Thank you so much for this experience, I was so within the feeling of you guys haha! my legs are jelly too for a mom haha, I know the feeling when you finally can hold something steady :D the feeling of being alive at the end
How did you climb up there with such big balls? 😂 You guys are a special breed. Awesome video man.
The smaller brain balances out the weight difference
I like how he’s wearing kneepads so he doesn’t hurt his knees in the event that his parachute doesn’t open. But seriously, my legs are like jelly just watching them crawl out over that. Absolutely mental.
Watching such video gives me chills. Can do it every once a while, like once a year.
Then I come back to continue play football and computer games, close to the ground. :D

Bro, actually how suicidal do you have to be to do this 😂 Great video!

@@Negative4Productions agreed
Not that high, or it wouldn’t be a base jump 😉
Mans giggle somehow reminds me of Joey from Friends😂
😆
I watched the whole video. I consider that full credit. I am checking this box.
I frequently skydive but I'm far too afraid to do this even once.
Than again, there are also far more deaths with basejumping, this is no bias or something against base jumpers though. These people almost always know the risks and decide for themselves, like they should.
Yep, fk that lol
Guys were just starting to BASE jump in the mid 70s when I was jumping. We thought they were crazy. I see nothing has changed since then.
I love being on commercial jetliners and travel, but I actually have fear of heights when it cones to climbing towers etc... I literally got tingling toes just watching this lol.
Great way to kick start the anxiety today.
Giggle giggle! I'd be doing the same thing
That giggle is classic, isn't it?!!
+Negative4 Productions totally!
That's amazing, would love to do this
first you need alot of money to do your AFF (skydiving license) then jump hundred of times until you are confident enough to base jump
My legs got weak and tingling just watching this!
I'm glad of dudes like this with their Go Pro's, because there's NO WAY I'm going up there to do that myself!
Imagine having this as a dream.
Small tiny puddle of water: “My time has come.”
lol falling from that distance water would be harder than concrete
My brain doesn't seem to like this, but it also kind of loves this.
These people are legit crazy!
My palms are sweating just watching this!
Idk why but this is the sweatiest my palms have gotten from a video. The guys nervous excitement was palpable.
I was saying under my breath, no effi g way
That exit looks sick!
It's pretty common in BASE terminology to refer to the part of an object that you jump off as an exit.
What in your wisdom should it be termed as instead?
That is just silly, what if an object has multiple exit points, how would you differentiate between what part of the object you jumped from. Under your same logic should a building's emergency exit be renamed as emergency step through?
Your entire argument is beyond bizarre, you are trying to argue against terminology that has been in existence since the origins of BASE jumping. It's even used in both the title and description of this video.
Exactly, just as you defined 'the exiting off something', be it a specific location off a cliff, bridge, building or antenna.
You guys had my palms sweating on that one
Great partnership I see, great jump as well!
props to camera man
This jump video really brings it home how much faith these guys put in the parachute opening. Obviously no chance to pull a reserve . It's basically russian roulette..Do it enough times and eventually something will go wrong. Massive respect though. Balls of steel.
that’s it. It has to be perfect ‘every single time’. Like imagine hitting the perfect golf drive or tennis swing every single time? Sport is just not like that. this is just for nutters
Exactly man, if you're higher you get more chances of correcting a failure but the height of that tower is just enough to open the main chute. Crazy.
Thanks to the brave individuals that built this tower!
Love the Power lines running alongside road underneath
Me: Isn't this kinda scary?
My Hands: Drooling all over my keyboard.
Ikr, whenever I watch these I get scared
Did anyone else notice how perfect the form was of the first guy who jumped? Beautiful, precise, well practiced execution.
No! I didn't "notice"! Because the "cameraman" turned away the camera in juuust the "right" moment...
Why is it that people here on youtube point the camera the right way steadily for minutes, but just as the exiting bit happens all we see are the F****** GROUND???
I love your energy!
Laughter of a madman.
the people driving cars probably thought he was about to commit die
I love how after every landing of free falling you just can’t stop laughing from the adrenaline
The shot looking downs epic.
I love his happy giggle. It's kind of cute lol
Wow, that ground comes up quick!!! 45 minute climb and prep, for a 5 second jump... Still better than a day at the office! 👍👍

Wow, what a jump! I'm a skydiver with 260 jumps, but doubt I would ever be ballsey enough to try this stunt.
All of that effort of climbing that structure just for 3 seconds of free fall.

Haha I felt my adrenaline rising only from watching this. Must be a (nerve wrecking) blast to actually do this irl 😁
i feel it. great video
Would love to do that, done a tandem from a plane that was fantastic great stuff guys.
now put VR headset and go up there and play richie's plank experience
That would be cool, especially if you had one of those indoor places and you have to jump out into an opening and let the wind catch you. That would be cool as fuck. Not as cool as the real thing, but damn it would feel close!
I love how their wearing kneepads like that will break the fall if their para shoot doesn’t work ahahah
lol i think it is to be able to climb on your knees.
This is a very common misunderstanding from non jumpers. It's almost impossible for the parachute just to not open. There however is a real risk of an off heading opening which in this jump could result in a collision with the antenna, or objects on the ground. That's why we use knee pads and helmets.
Anyone else’s palms sweaty after watching this? XD
Kudos for jumping I had a panic attack just looking down from your view 😁
