They shouldn't shy away from calling themselves 'Gritpop'. Its a movement in a forward direction, its as they say "a romantic view of what Britpop was" but with a gritty edge. Thats what makes them Viva Brother. They can't deny their Britpop influences, so why try to now say it was just a joke/response?
