it's a pity that I didn't find your channel while i was in first year med school struggling with anatomy, this is the easiest way to study and memorize anatomy, this is a great job thank you
Respect. This fellow has a passion for teaching. It really takes someone with a deep knowledge to turn a complex subject from word-salad to something that can be understood in a fun and painless way.

Thank you for the excellent description. I am a simple layperson, getting ready to have thymus removal. I wanted to understand my body better, even the lymphs. Your video and knowledge are easy to understand and very helpful. On a more fun note, I really enjoyed your little tune at the end! Good music choice! Thank you!
I am so impressed with your videos! I am a cardiology tech student and these videos have helped me in ways you will never know. I even posted the video onto my progam's online website and my instructor praised me for posting a link to it. FYI, I am attending Stenberg College in BC Canada! Thank you!
I spent so much time understanding these things last year from books and you helped me revise them in 12 minutes, ha! You are a great teacher! Thank you! Duh-duh-duh
Very good explanation 👏 sir. After I passed out from medical faculty I did not think about this mediastinal area.I got and understood the subject properly. Thanks.

5:39 The thoracic duct goes through the diaphragm at the aortic hiatus (T12). It drains into the systemic circulation at the left venous angle created by the join of the left subclavian vein and left internal jugular. 6:03 There are three major aperarures in the diaphragm, the vena caval foramen, esophageal hiatus and aortic hiatus. A good way to remember this is I ate (8), 10 Eggs, At 12. I For IVC at the level of T8, E in eggs for Esophagus at the level of T10 and A in at for aorta at T12. 9:45 If you have a right then you have a left... I wish this was correct 100% of the time because there are always those pesky exceptions like a posterior nucleus of vagus nerve but where is the anterior one? 10:48 there are exceptions here, the right lymphatic duct in addition to those listed drains the left half of the heart, lymph drainage from the 4th to 10th segment of the left lung. The thoracic duct drains everything else and the right half of the heart.
