Thank you for posting! It's interesting to rewatch from season 1. Melissa was totally victim blaming Spencer for all her problems. Notice that in both circumstances, Spencer was not the one to initiate the kiss. She responded, and then knew it was wrong. I hope Melissa breaks out of her bubble and wakes up to the fact that Spencer has been abused.
Um...what? Spencer was abused by Ian and Wren? She lead Wren on first of all and Ian and Wren didn't take advantage of her and force her into anything she didn't want. As soon as she told Wren to stop, he stopped. Ian she didn't stop and was giggling about it afterwards so what the hell. Spencer was the one to blame. It's frustrating to see everyone take the liars sides on everything simply because they are the main characters. They were bad girls in the beginning they were heartless and they did what they felt like becuase everything they wanted was more important than others feelings. There is a reason there was an A TEAM and this team came after them, otherwise the story doesn't really work does it. A good character has flaws and development; it doesn't make Spencer a horrible character to be flawed it just means she isn't a Mary Sue. it is all right for us to love her and admit she can be a bitch from time to time. She definitely flirted with Wren and lead him on. Melissa had a right to be upset for her sister making out with more than one boyfriend behind her back. Also, you know the only reason she stopped Wren was because of A right? It's only because A said If you kiss I tell and other threatening messages. She just didn't want Melissa to find out, but she did do it to get back at Melissa for taking the barn from her.
@@Meangrl19 I think what the original comment meant was that Spencer was mentally and emotionally abused, not to mentioned neglected, by her parents who clearly favor Melissa.
@@Meangrl19 I’m taking the liars side regarding Ian and Wren because they were MINORS and Wren and Ian were adults. The fact that Spencer was blamed as a 16 year old instead of Wren, the grown adult is victim blaming.
@@Meangrl19both of the ADULTS should’ve been blamed, not the MINOR who was only 16 at the time. They initiated it even though they knew it was wrong.. how is it Spence’s fault exactly? She was a child who honestly especially by wren, was groomed to a certain extent.
torrey played this character SO well
Melissa:"Dont you love the thought of a mini me or ian running around?" * laugh*
Spencer: *straight face* Not really.
Melissa: *shook*
Melisa and spence hugging each other was sweet
