We are certain now that when they began their journey in pirate king and treasure they were searching for an unknown treasure. In say my name/hala hala they slowly began to realize that the treasure they hunt for are themselves or rather their self-redemption by accepting they have a dark side (their Alternate Egos in the black Outfits). Illusion and Wave was them not wanting to accept that thus ending in an Illusion, where one of their alter Egos showed up so they realized that ist not real. So they woke up in wave to continue their journey. So then in Wonderland they went to confront their darker selfes and now in Answer they accepted them as part of themselves and teamed up with them at the table which adds up with the lyrics. Now that they´ve found their treasure, themselves, the next storyline will probably be about that new guy because he arrived at that place way after the actual MV took place, after they burned everything as they say in the lyrics.
The person at the end has the telescope from illusion, and the shard of glass reminds me of Say My Name MV, the song talks about waves, Hala Hala outfits, the butterfly, and I feel like there were Aurora references. God it's like their WHOLE DAMN JOURNEY is in this one song. My mind can't absorb this after working all day lol

ok, so like, this is kinda late, but here's my theory on who the masked man is. so the first thing i noticed about him was that he was wearing the same boots mInGi is wearing on one of the teaser pics (those white boots with heels are iconic btw), so i was like "OOoooOooOOOoooH" but then, i saw this other mv reaction video in which the girl that was reacting said that maybe it was yunho, cuz people were saying that his shadow was glitching in the wonderland mv. and then, in the answer choreo, there are some parts in which the other members are dancing around him while he's standing still. so i got a little discouraged with my theory. bUt ThEn!!1! i didn't noticed, but when you said that the thing that the man grabbed at the end of the mv was the thing MiNgI wAS HOLDING, i was like "I CALLED IT" so yeah, i still think there's something going on with yunho, but mingi HAS to be the masked man thanks for coming to my ted talk uvu
