This song is a great reminder to us that we need to not rest on our salvation, but make every effort to live a life more like Jesus. We are told to help those less fortunate than ourselves, feed the hungry, care for the widows and orphans. All too often, we sit in our pews, homes, cars or jobs and notice the struggles of others, and leave them to someone else to help. Jesus helped those society turned their backs on and showed true love for His people.
