- Flying Squad responds to a reported house-breaking in progress on a Saturday morning in Claremont/Newlands. Game-day traffic? No problem...
Vehicle: Toyota Fortuner XR 149
Camera: GoPro Hero 3 Silver Edition
Editor: Denys Stroebel
One of my first uploads, please comment on the video editing. I tried really hard to minimise the crackling audio.
i'm so baked i read this as flying squid and clicked on it.
what did you expect to see?! lol
Take some shrooms and watch this 😂
lol did same
That would be an amazing spectacle👍🏻
Lmao 😂
1. The flying squad actually got the message about a robbery (a miracle in itself in SA)
2. They are taking it seriously.
3. I would hope they respond with speed should I be the one making the call.
4. Adrenaline is pumping. Joking is a mechanism to relieve the high level of stress.
5. They appear to be well in control of their vehicle, and aware of their surroundings, at all times.
6. We as drivers can take some hints how to drive to assist such a police vehicle in getting through the traffic.
I still have hope for my Country, South Africa!
Lot of kak old you said😂
How about now?
Wow, what a beautiful city!
african movie
It used to be.
MihaiRUdeRO Cape Town is always beautiful
Thanks to European culture for building it.
Beautiful city.
hahaha 1:55 "Yes! Very Nice!" Well spotted boys.
They love the chase. South african boys. Well done.
I should buy myself a house over there, nice response. If you live in Mitchell's Plain and call the police they usually arrive a few hours later, and that's when they're quick.
Or move to a country, which allows you to own guns...
TheCrazyFinn south africa allows you to own guns but its a long wait for you to get the licence
@@TheCrazyFinn in Europe most countries don’t allow anyone to just have lethal weapons at home and the crime rate is still far less then in SA. That proves that paining guns is actually not the way for a lower crime rate.
@@mihnealazar7039 Are you suggesting a country with a different ethnic composition? ;)
when I grow up I want to join the Flying Squad
Same
Honestly, i dont see anything wrong, they are in a rush and is doing everything they can to get there, they cant fly, damm people. Atleast they try, not like some SAPS i know
They did well, but still 4.5 mins is a long time in an encounter like that. I still want my own gun to defend myself!
Yho hands down good driving
Crime is so often like everyday in South Africa including carjackings. So sad.
shut ya
hahahahahaha, f****** love the part about the f****** cyclists... in CT they think they own the road
Sok
id trap some of then if i could, that guy that ended up in hospital on victoria drive probs where driving in the middle of the road
Goddamit... I hate that I'll never afford a house in the Southern Suburbs. So leafy...
poes funny driver
Excellent!! More please
well done boys - hope you took a few of the criminal bastards down. Damn impressive driving
Victims of robbery said every moment was like eternity, so if you're capable to own a firearm, armed yourselves for home defense.
Surely there was another vehicle closer to the scene! In Durban, the criminals would have installed the DSTV dish at their home if we took this long to get to the scene.
i actually saw one when they were wizzing past all the other cars .
You can hear its Cape Town cops in the accents and manner. Hahaha nice one.
reminds you we are in SA when you listen to them talking
We need this kind of policing in the USA..
This is how i drive and talk everyday 🤣🤣🤣
units like this would drive Focus ST`s, Golf GTi`s or Audi S3`s depending on the local police force. in Johannesburg the majority are ST`s and S3`s.
This is obviously a bigger vehicle, either an SUV or a bakkie.
ahhhh.. the South African Flying Squad. "Get Your Trousers on ! You're Nicked!" What's that in Afrikaans?
yo please upload more of these
More... I demand more... In this quality... with this type of editing... etc... etc.
The guy in the back ground🤣
Wow I saw myself, completely oblivious to what was happening.
lool so i guess this video is to show to the all world how these guyz are having fun out there!!
its a Toyota fortuner .. sez in the description !
Very Nice!!!!! YES more please!
wow people in this country actually GTFO of the way of emergency vehicles!~!!~ impressive
My bet is on a Jetta 4, TBH might also be one of the city golf's with the new dash.
Said in the description it's a Toyota Fortuner XR 149.
Edit: only after I hit submit do I notice it's a 7 year old comment. Fuck me I'm getting old.
Love it! Who remember those BMW 5 series the cops got in Sandton in the 80s. 535is I think. The bugger totaled the lot of them within the first couple of months! A lot more classy that the Crown Vics we have over here, but then the cops don't eat so many doughnuts in SA!
Ridiculous, how many blocks did they have to travel.
"Ugh Don't break woman!"
Not paying attention on the road endangers peoples lives, not giving way to Police vehicles endangers peoples lives and causes collisions
I See very few issues with this video
The people who don't like it are are black people who get uncomfortable by the idea of a white policeman.
Werner Roets .
Werner Roets mmmhhhhh!! Colonial Free
Werner Roets what a load of crap!
Looking forward to the GTI video :)
Suprisingly it is the most common time for break ins.
Just curious: isn't there a requirement in the RSA that cars yield ( to the left here) to emergency vehicles in pursuit?
Wheres the rest.. i was enjoying the little roadtrip and comments!
Awesome vid, will def keep checking for new ones!
Nice... now some vids of the action!
How can you fly like an eagle if you are working turkeys. I hope the rest finished their kentucky by now.
I don't care who you are, if you're not talking to the other motorists while you're driving, you are not South African.
Wouldn't it have been quicker to catch the train?
Hi guys
+Andy Jay Yup, go for CCTV at least if you have surveillance you'll have something to go on.
By the time they got on the scene the thieves is gone and already sold all the stuff.
Does that passenger airbag look like it has been used before? and is it not possible to get the make and model of which car they were using?
Very interesting vid! Can't wait for more! End Of Watch (South Africa) ;)
Hilarious, looks like the cops drove halfway across the country to get to the crime scene, in the US the cops would be less than 5 miles away.
What nonsense. From halfway down Keurboom Road till just beyond Paradise motors on the M3 is barely 3km. I know, I live there. Took 4 and a half minutes in traffic. In the US cops would take the same time on a good day.
Its a fortuner D-4D...
No wonder he got nervous about almost clipping someone. LOL
The man talking shit is spoiling this upload
Can anyone else see the old lady at 3:27 almost get hit by the white SUV?
This is the best part of the job. How did you get this to be 'legally' uploaded? I have footage from both Ambulance and Fire Department, not sure if i could upload them.
@Heinrich Loock yeah, 2020 weoutchea - back in the day there was a lot of restrictions especially with the Fire Department.
Fun to watch... not so great to see them drive past your house though... A little too close to home
l think the Robbers have left.
WHAT THE **** ARE YOU **** DOING MAN?! haha
The time they get there..house will be empty 😂😂
who breaks into a house on saturday morning...
Decent vid, more more more!
I legit thought this was some drones
The only flying here is my lifetime.
useless, im sure no one was arrested
I missed the ''flying'' part of the video.
Welldone, we want moar!
It takes a long time to get there. And then it's disappointing.
That's it!
Ha ha, Ker-BOOM road.
Driving not bad but you should not have been sent so far, 20 minutes is unacceptable , what a waste of your time and petrol. I wouldn't put up on RUclips that it took 20 minutes.
Expand the description. All the deets are there.
Nice, where are the intruders?
lets wait until you call the police and see if you ask them why they took so long and they reply, sorry sir you wanted us to drive speed limit and not try and help you asap.
that guy drives like my granny, that was a slow response witch is why i dont even bother calling the police no more
Flying Squad... yet driving... Fucking boring.. i could have drove with my car and just make woo woo woo woo
Hence the built in toilets in flying squad cars in SA. if you are not ready you will kek yourself lol.
Singles Bowels HA***HA***HA
Good Edit
Is there a Contea Road as well?
Together we improve south Africa
Tell me,are you part of the flying squad at this
point in time?
seems like a vw golf 1/hear the engine sounds and the way the shifters makes sluggish sounds
Toyota Fortuner D4D
haha Denys uploads videos now
Do you not have GPS in South Africa?
Naaice driving.
Shit are thee cops coming from joyes?
Hey pulp cops, you need VW GTI
i just lost 4 minutes of my life
You have a life on youtube?
At least this cops got there, and not in 20minutes like some of the other good for nothings.
It was too far... :-(
I was expecting some action
I could ride bicycle faster than this.
+Chandrak Baxi ek het jou meisie vinniger genaai as dit
In 4 and a half minutes? Shame :(
lol south African driving :P
Really Sid? Pulling over and getting a fright and braking cause you are not paying attention and all of a sudden you see an emergency vehicle are not the same thing, as a skilled driver you pick up on these things very quickly when driving Flying Squad cars at high speed or any response vehicle, the protest from the member in the vehicle was that the driver did not know what they where doing, panicked and braked leaving the emergency vehicle no where to go
Police driving this slow. Lol
haha , and then is people like you that moan when cops don't get to the scene in time .. kids shouldn't be playing in the road anyways , its for cars !
I Drive like that all the time ... Nothing special ...
troy-grant Bèzuidenhout thats why your probably dead you idiotic fool
Are those speaking Afrikaans also?
Are they in a fire truck FFS
What was the point of this
You know why these criminals in blue use those loud speakers whilst on route to a scene? To alert the other criminals.
