@@DemonsRow We had one of the guys in our group get a beatdown from a MMA type. Our guy was a good guy but sometimes he would get to drinking and get into fights. He was a big and built dude, never saw him loose a fight until that night. I don't recall what started it but we all just looked up and saw his squaring off with a short dude that probably weighed 140 lbs soaking wet. By the time it was all over he beat our guy down, he was all over him like a spider monkey. Our guy never even got a hit on him. We all just stood by and let it happen because he started it, but did break it up when we could tell he didn't want any more.
We have a brother, Flipper (he's half paralyzed but that's another story) who'd go to a specific place and sit and drink right beside a specific person and start running his mouth He'd get so freaking annoying that he usually got punched.
Then the other brothers can work on "the man who would punch a crippled biker". (And don't think Flipper can't still give a sound pounding. He's just more devious)

I'm am club member and I've seen a dude walking down the street wearing a soa vest, honestly I thought it was hilarious. It's a TV show it's not all that serious. I understand if they are rocking a territory rocker then yeah say something but more of a heads up and give them a little bit of knowledge

I belive to be a military unit means that you are actively serving and that your superiors are the misistry of defense/army of the said country.

HA has 3 patches, mongols have 3 patches, etc...its not specific to a single club. Dress blues are specific the the usmc, class a to us army.

@@christophjohnson3777 just having three patches, regardless if it’s your club, a tv show club, an enemy club, it will ring the alarm. Their 3 patch rule is not to be taken lightly, and you will most likely be approached. Same with a military uniform at a military event.

I read somewhere that the creators of the show made sure that the official SoA merch doesn't break any of the codes and can get people in trouble. Apparently anything that has the full patch isn't the official merch.

I don't know anything about real MC's, but I love SOA. One of my favorite shows ever. Getting mad at someone for wearing a television prop is a little over the top. I just found your channel and I love it. Please keep posting the content and could you do some interviews with other MC members?

I stopped wearing my BLS vest. Because they thought it was a famous musicians clothing line. Plus I was at a bar wearing it one night an a club member was there. He didn't say anything to me but gave me a hard stare. I didn’t know anything about clubs at the time. That happened when I was in my 20’S. I'm 41 now. I have no reason to disrespect clubs. I only wear it to BLS concerts.

I remember back at the peak of that show, i was at an event and a van rolled in and 5-6 guys jumped out wearing hoodies with soa patch on it and started walking around acting tough and bullying people thinking they were hot stuff. Was a fun sight to see them hoppin in there van and leaving without shirts and eyes on the ground
A group of guys in S.A. would wear The Warriors vest around town. And a very well known MC took all the vests from these guys. Even told the 1%ers dude we just group of friends that love this movie. I thought it was bullshit.

All my life I have wanted to ride. And I was drawn to the American V-twin style of bike.
I still remember seeing the war bonnet on the fender of that Indian when I was like 5 years old. The sound got in my soul.
As I grew I had interactions with clubs and from the get go I knew it is not for me. But the bikes the leather oh and yah the lady’s I did like that.
I’m also a veteran and understand what brotherhood means. Though I have a real problem with the lifer’s style. Or more a problem with authority don’t like being told what to do. I did like the way we made that team and felt like I was part of something special knowing that as a unit we are unbeatable. I felt like a bad ass when I was with my unit.
I also strongly believe that untold men and woman have lost there life’s fighting for the freedom we enjoy today. Freedom from any group, government or gang to tell me were I can travel, or tell what I can ware, what I chose to advertise.
Now don’t get me wrong if I were to but on a Hells Angels patch, I would expect to be in big trouble. For that is disrespecting the club and the work that went in to earning the patches. As I wouldn’t think it’s OK to take pictures or even ask if it was ok.
Here is the rub for me. SOA is not a club, it is not trying to take any thing from your clubs. Nobody is trying to start a club in your AO. We are just doing what Americans do we advertise what we like. The list of stuff we advertise is in the millions. Coke, Pepsi, RC Cola, shit I’ve seen Tee shirts that have Pepto-Bismol on them. I may disagree but I have no right to tell them you got to take that off.
If you are at a biker event and you see a dude with a SOA cut or tee on and people are taking pictures and talking to the dude. Why do you think that is? Because they know it is not a club and the person is not a biker. If they talk to you it is about the show not biker life style. Nobody walks up to a 1%er and says hay can I get a picture of you and your cut. Nobody thinks that the SOA is a club. All you bikers out there know that it is not a club too! Get the fuck over it.
Here’s the thing knowing my father fought for everyones rights and I will not bend to anyone that tells me I can’t exercise those rights. That’s like spitting in my dads face! There is no way you clubers would let any one to mess with those same right most of you fought for.

I am the Director of the Westchester County NY American Legion Riders and I wear a cut with the ALR patch on the back (would send you a photo of the cut if I could) I wonder if wearing it at a place where club members may be, will I have any issues with them?

How does this work? I have band patches on my vest. One is with red and white logo. It is a Swedish punk band. Back patch is a black metal patch. The True Mayhem from Norway. Do these clubs see this as a problem or are they cool with it? I mean do colors of a patch give problems?

Being offended is a choice. If someone is a fan of a TV show, you know that's what it is. Don't make it more than that. Save that energy for when the line is really crossed. I look at it like this: if someone disrespects you and they had no idea, it's "Actus Reus" only. If they did it deliberately, though, that's "Mens Rea" and we're on a whole other level.
I understand the MC-culture , and I personally don't care if people even want to create their own MC's , I think it only strengthens the motorcycle culture all around. OG MC's should just stay in their own world doing what they do and not mind the rest, because at the end of the day it's not a threat to anyone

Was wearing a Hog chapter cut in Daytona during bw, was at the iron horse and staff came up to me and told me they got complaints and I had to take it off or leave. I turned it inside out and had a couple more beers while I was wearing it inside out, couple of bigger guys gave me thumbs up, I finished the beer and rolled, but it surprised me a little, even though I was wearing a chapter location lower rocker with an AF rocker on the top so I guess I deserved it, I found out that the rules in Daytona during bw is no cuts or colors of any type. I didn't really know, this was years ago but I never wore it out during bw again.

I can understand your point of view. I also understand his point of view on approaching the kid. This kid might not know and be somewhere where he doesn't get approached as nicely as he just did. It's like I respect the outlaw motorcycle club tremendously. Grew up in South Florida, seeing them do. A lot of good things for people. But I would never wear support your Black and white outlaw, hoodie or anything in public. Add a respect for them. I have bought some of that stuff just to support their club. But there's a difference in wearing it because it's A. TV thing, maybe a hoodie. Or t shirt? But when you start wearing a full vest, patched with state name and everything, It's a slippery slope. Because nowadays people don't respect anyone. So respect is earned, but it's also Has to be demanded by the right people as well. I respect every club I see. And a lot of times I will tell them much respect. I've had a few. Tell me the f off...lol... But most just nod. What's Fist bump or say thank you. I've even bought some of them their meal. I've never had one not say thank you. I have never been a patchholder nor any of my family. But we have been very involved growing up around the outlaws. My brothers have painted some of their bikes. My mom was a waitress at a small diner and was taken very good care of by the club. So wearing a full cut in my opinion is either done. For the purpose of disrespecting, or just playing out ignorance. Either way, they should be told for their own safety! And if they do something stupid, a lot of people will relate that to a real Cut! I’m a biker and I fully understand the symbolism of patching and respect it. I’m also a veteran and cannot tell you how furious “stolen valor” use of military insignia make me. Respect people’s “uniform” and don’t wear one in any context if you didn’t earn it.
And if wear a uniform let it be a repro and use only in party if it's the tema of it or as many do use in meeting by collectors and in different types of war history playing or Hollywood movie and yes everything you have to earn patches as medals from sport to war

I wear a vest that has the Lone Wolf No Club back patch. My home town Morocco rocker on top and Indiana rocker on the bottom. The US flag top left front with my name patch "Pappy" below it. On the right breast my wife picked out the patch, "it's not a beard it's a saddle". Left lower near the bottom snap a 99% inside the deck of cards Club. On the right lower is the Punisher patch. Soon, over the 99% clubs patch I will have a 3% in the Hearts suit, for the 3 percent of the men who fought along side of the Continental Army to show their support for a new America. There is no disrespect in any MC. I support MC's for all they do. I have never had any issues with any Club member 1% or not.
Back in the 1940s and 1950s, you were only "allowed" to wear a baseball hat if you actually played for that team. Little league, high school, whatever, but you'd never see anyone wearing, for instance, a NY Yankees hat. People would make fun of you like, "hey he thinks he plays for the Yankees lol... who are you? Babe Ruth? lol". Similar stuff, just thought I'd throw that out there.
