Aww, el nido looks so different now. Very congested and full of establishments. I remmber when we went there twice in 2011 there were only 3 or 4 hotels and the rest were bed and breakfast. You could also see the beach right away as soon as you set foot on the white sand in elnido town. It's good that the hotels look upgraded and there are more optioms for food now as well, but it looks as if it's similar to boracay and other tourist destinations already. It no longer feels secluded and intimate. I hope they can keep the area clean. Will be a lot of waste if people also destroy such a God givenbeauty..
How far is this from Sabang Beach in Palawan? I am an Australian journalist who has written stories in the Philippines, but I never got over to Palawan, only to Luzon, Davao, Cebu/Mactan and Boracay. I definitely want to see Palawan one day.

You can fly from Manila to Puerto Princesa or El Nido. Approximately two hour flight.
