Hey Naomi! Thank you so much for the kind words and booking with us! We’re so glad you had a wonderful anniversary trip!! The Inspira suites are amazing!! ❤️❤️❤️
Going there in a few days. Hope the rain won’t be too bad!
Was there early March ~ Absolutely Amazing .
Was there 10 days ago. There is another pool called the Relaxing Pool. It was great, smaller than the main pool but still great. It has a top level with a wading pool.
We just booked in January and leave in a week! Your video has made us so excited!!
Have fun and safe travels! You’ll have a blast! ☺️ Thanks for tuning into our channel!
thanks so much for sharing!!!!!
Thanks for tuning in! ☺️
We are booked for 5 days this coming January. looking forward to it.
You’ll love it!! Enjoy your trip and safe travels!! Thanks for tuning into our channel! ☺️🏝🍹
How was the weather in January? I'm planning on going in January 2024
@@SaL-ep7zb it was nice not overly hot. Ocean was chilly. There was a breeze but sunny every day.
great video, covered alot of things I was looking for. In 2022 we stayed at Secrets Playa Mujeres close by and loved it. We just returned from Punta Cana Breathless and loved it also. I have been told multiple times to look into Atelier...I see you said Excellence over Atelier?? What puts it over the edge? Thanks for any info.
Hi, we would give the edge to Atelier over Excellence, the food is a step up at Atelier.
Hello! How many pools are at this property? I think you said only one in your video.
Hi! There are 4 total pools. The main pool has two swim up bars, there is a 2nd pool on the opposite end of the resort that also has a swim up bar. A 3rd pool which is near the beach and is Inspira (club) guests only, and a 4th pool (roof top infinity pool) which is also Inspira guests only. All are GREAT pools!
Do you know if the evening wine and cheese is a weekly event? That looked awesome!!
Hi! Thanks for tuning into the channel! Yes, I’m pretty sure it’s a daily event 🍷☺️🏝
Do the restaurants allow bottles of wine brought in and if so do you know the corkage fee? Thanks for an amazing video on this resort! Headed there for a friends destination wedding.
Hi! That is a great question and I honestly am not sure. I would call the front desk and ask. I would think they probably wouldn’t mind that at all, but I’m sure there’s a policy on it one way or the other. Thanks for tuning into the channel!
How is the entertainment? Do they have any live shows, or live music, zumba or water aerobics or anything like that?
Yes! Great shows and live music throughout there resort. Sometimes they’ve had two live music performances going on at the same time.
Hey, great video. When they say 'all inclusive' is all food and drink literally included and is it premium brands?. I know some restaurants sometimes charge extra to book and go there but is this the case here? Also...is the mini bar in the room an additional charge to use?
How are the beaches? Is seaweed an issue? Also, have you been to sandals grande in st Lucia? If so, which would you choose?
Hi! Thanks for tuning into our channel! No, we didn’t experience any seaweed, it can happen though. This area of Cancun typically doesn’t get it as bad as south of Cancun can. We have been to Sandals Grand St Lucian (we have a vlog of that resort on our channel here too ☺️). Both are great resorts, completely different destinations. It’ll depend on what you’re looking for in your trip and your travel style to decide which would be best for you. Both are fantastic options! Feel free to email Janet and she can help you decide which one would be best for you based on your travel style. Janet@penyaktravel.com
Thanks for the video. Does the TV have an AirPlay option?
Hi! We actually tried that when we were there, and we could not get it to work. If you really want to utilize the TV that way I would bring an HDMI iPhone connector.
Hi! Loved your video. Does the wine and cheese happy hour for Inspira guests only?
We usually go in December and the swimout pools are cold. Do you know if theirs is heated?
Hi!! The main pools are heated (they feel great in the winter), we are not sure if the private swim out pools are heated or not.
Does the hotel help with bookings to the cenote or the xcaret parks ? If so do know the pricing ?
Thanks for the video! I have a room booked in spring 2024. I wanted to know more about the Inspira upgrade and how it effects beach chair/bed access. The price is almost doubled with Inspira. Any direction and suggestions on its value would be much appreciated
Hey man, in the same boat. Did you end up going with the upgrade?
Hi! Where did you book the Whale Shark / Dolphine excursion? We are heading to this resort on Friday and would love to do that!
Hi, Did you book inspira on this trip? did they charge extra for grey goose for non inspira? thank you
Great video - thank you!!
Honest feedback on video itself, the black and white freeze frames/transitions were a bit distracting
Thanks for the feedback!! Hope you found the video helpful!
Thanks for the review! My girlfriend and I are looking at staying here in May. Does the resort offer anything in the way of excursions? I can't seem to see anything about that on their site.
Hey Thomas! Yes they do, the resort has a tour desk or your travel agent can arrange your excursions before hand as well. Thanks for tuning into the channel and if we can help in any way let us know! Janet@PenyakTravel.com ☺
Hello!! we are wondering do the rooms have irons and hair dryers ?
Hi Stephanie, yes they do. Thanks for tuning into our channel!!
Thank you for the video! I can't wait to go in November of 2022!
Who provide the whale shark excursion? Did you register for that in advance of your arrival?
Hi!! Enjoy your trip!! Unfortunately the whales are not there in November, they are seasonal to the summer months and migrate in the fall/winter months. The tour operator we used Discovery Mexico and you can book it in advance.
I'm a solo traveler. I go on vacation to sorta chill out. I have been to Cancun once before and soon again in 2023. If I switch over to Atelier am I going to be bored? Is there anywhere to go off the resort? Would be a 4-day trip.
Hi TravelMan! We dont think so, they have a variety of activities at the resort throughout the day. Depending on what time of year you go, you could go swim with the Whale Sharks, that's a very rare experience.
Great video! I was wondering what is the tipping situation like? Do we still give tips even with an all inclusive package?
Hi! Thanks for tuning into the channel! Yes, you’ll want to bring cash to tip for service (bar tenders, severs, etc.). There are resorts like Sandals, that have a no tipping policy, however the majority of all-inclusives it is accepted and expected.
@@PenyakTravel that’s great. Thank you so much!
Did you have to rsvp to any of the restaurants? How many restaurants at that resort?
Hi! Thanks for tuning into our video! There are 9 dining options, 6 of which are sit down restaurants. We reserved tables on arrival. Hope this helps!
What suite level do you have to be in to have access to the rooftop bar?
Hi! Any room category labeled “inspira”
Thanks for the video review it really help on my choices. I am thinking of choosing Atlier vs the Excellence hotel on Playa Mujeres. Not sure if you have any insight or preference between them. I think Excellence has slightly better reviews, but looks to be a bit outdated. Also, which resort do you prefer, the Atlier or Zilari at Cap Cana? I am also worried about seaweed covered beaches...which one was better in your opinion. Thanks!
Atelier over Excellence all day! It’s more modern and the food is way better. Thanks for tuning in to the channel! If we can help you with your vacation plans please email us at janet@penyaktravel.com.
Thanks 🙏, now I am debating Zilari Cap Cana or Atelier. Is it worth the Inpira upgrade?
@@jackchang3538 we think so, the pool is really really nice! A nice change of pace from the main pool.
Loved the review! Is tipping included? If not, what is the norm for each situation?
Hi! No, tipping is not included, we typically did a $1 or two per round of drinks, and $5-10 for dinner service. Hope this helps!
@Penyak Travel Company Yes, it does, thank you!
Is the water safe to drink or did you use bottled?
Hi Jeff! Most major resorts have an onsite filtration systems, but it would come down to what you're comfortable with at that point. Hope this helps!! Thanks for tuning into our channel!!
Hi, I wanted to ask if it's safe to travel here? I was thinking about taking my wife here at this resort and she's a little bit concerned about it. Thank you
Did the resort include any wine that was included in your stay? or was any wine an out of pocket expense?
Hey Sal! Yes, all restaurants and bars offer a few reds and a few whites that are included (as a wino myself I can say it was good quality ☺️) They also have a large wine list should you want to upgrade to a different bottle at dinner, which we did at the steakhouse on this trip. Hope this helps and thanks for subscribing to our channel!!
@@PenyakTravel Appreciate your input! Thank you! :)
@@SaL-ep7zb No problem at all! ☺️
Is there a hot tub on the pool area? Great video btw awesome footage!
I know you rated the food at Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana really high….is this even better? Trying to decide between these two resorts.
Hi Janelle! Both are very highly rated for us! Very comparable resorts. The beach at Zilara is slightly better (bigger and wider), but it’s close! The food is very very close as well. Thanks for tuning into our channel and thanks for reaching out to us! Janet has a call with you tomorrow to discuss ☺️
Is the golf course included? Great video!
Hey Adam! Thanks for checking out our channel! The golf is not included but can be arranged on property. I wish I had played, it looked like a really really nice course!! Green fees are around $250.
How is the beach in terms of sea weed. Deciding between here and sandals Curacao for 204
That’s a tough decision, if you like a good beach you’ll want to go here. Curacao has a decent beach but it’s off the big water, it’s on more of an inlet to the ocean. Seaweed can happen at random and hard to time. It wasn’t a huge issue when we were there. Both resorts are great though!
Have you been to beloved vs. here?
Hey Kate! Thanks for tuning into our channel! Beloved is a completely different vibe, very small resort, very quiet and low key. This resort is much larger a tad more upbeat with plenty of options for quiet and relaxing. Hope this helps!
Great video!! I was wondering if the swimming with whale sharks is a in-hotel activity or it is booked outside of the hotel? Thanks!
Hi! Thanks for subscribing! It’s booked outside the resort (the resort desk may have one) but we did ours though Ocean Tours Mexico. Hope this is helpful! ☺️
@@PenyakTravel Would we just go through that company if we’re interested or are other options? I definitely want to do this.
@@InhalationAerosol yes or there are several companies that do it in the area.
How late is the bar/club open? How was the nightlife?
Hey!! We never made it up too late but have had friends that have, definitely 2AM or even later. We’re not sure when they actually close, probably when the crowds thin out if we had to guess. Thanks for tuning into our channel! ☺️
If everything is included, why you paying cash for food?
Hi Olga, you probably saw us tipping our servers and bar tenders. Tips our encouraged for good service for the staff. You don’t pay for any drinks or food here, unless you upgrade to a nicer bottle of wine at dinner. Hope this helps!
which currency do you use for tips? and how much tipping is a decent amount?
Thanks for the informative video!
@@sohaibahmad5222you can tip in american dollars. tip what you can afford, a dollar per drink is fine to the bartenders. if there is pool/beach service where the servers are walking far, maybe 2 per drink. They will appreciate any tip. Dinner waiters you can tip more, $10 or whatever you want. Tip housekeeping $5-$10 per time they clean your room. You can also tip the people who re stock the mini fridge in your room. Just bring a ton of singles and some 5s and 10s, you’ll be good :)
Since you have been to both, which resort would you recommend? I'm torn between Atelier and Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana. My cousin and I are single, in our 50's, want great food, great service and some fun at night. We loved Le Blanc Cabo, except for the low key evenings.
Hi Christine! Thanks for subscribing to the channel! Both are great options, but if you're looking for a more upbeat nightlife, Atelier may be the better option, they have a nice night club that is open late into the AM hours and is pretty upbeat! We'd be happy to quote some options if you'd like, feel free to send us your dates and departing airports here: penyaktravel.com/contact/
Amazing video who you book with ?
We own a travel agency so we book ourselves!
