At 2:25, it appears you had a perfect spray with the first pump of the atomizer. That usually indicates the bottle was used at least once before. It also appears there's a few ml less in your 2097 bottle but that could also be a result of some evaporation over 13 years. It's pretty hard for citrus top notes like to last in over a decade old bottles regardless of how they're stored. Thanks for showing the batch and formula codes. You're one of the very few reviewers who do.
I had brand new bottles that did spray on the first touch. Usually they have air in the tube and they need one or two empty sprays. I doubt anyone opened it and resealed it after. Yes, top notes don't hold well through out the years.

Needing to prime the atomizer once or twice can also be altered in a used bottle. Jeremy Fragrance showed in a video that if you turn the bottle upside down a few times and shake it a bit, it makes the atomizer work like new with a few pumps needed for a perfect spray. There's a good article here from a respected perfume site. I've been buying fragrances since the late 1970's and while I love the old powerhouses, even my own stuff from back then has lost some of its flavor, so to speak. Another possibility for a great first spray (but I can't confirm it) is that some houses fill the bottles up to the very top, leaving nearly no room for air. It's possible that these completely full bottles might elicit a perfect first spray.

Celalalt de unde mai cumpar e Notino. Mai sunt "LeFragrance" si "CareSpot" cu preturi bune dar nu am luat nimic de acolo. Sunt si ei 100% autentici. Restul le iau de pe site-urile oficiale chiar daca nu trimit la noi in tara, platesc si trimit la prieteni care locuiesc in tari mai "bine vazute" si mi le trimit ei prin curier sau mi le aduc cand vin inapoi in tara.
I found the old silver 2007 DHC a while ago, I got lucky! I payed $86. I am looking for a backup bottle for the 2013 DHC (the white one). The 125ml is around 85 bucks also. I simply love the Francois Demachy version of DHC, uplifting, fresh, citrusy, it is perfect for summer hot days!
@@tattoofun2003 usually the genuine colognes hold up for years right?? The knockers are the ones that start to reek?? I have a whole wall of cologne I sold a lot of it though. I actually became addicted I'm not even joking a full-time addiction to cologne. I have done my fair share a of substances(drugs) in my life and nothing came close to being is addictive as cologne go figure. Good to hear from you though that it doesn't go bad
Dude I think I'm fixing to relapse by watching you open that box and spray that bottle I felt the strong rushing urge to get up and start testing all of my cologne. How is this even possible I don't even understand this how is it even possible to be addicted to something like that. I wonder if I'm the only person in the world please tell me I'm not.
@@waltersobchak7275 A fragrance that is beeing kept in room temperature conditions and away from sunlight will have no problem making it through the years.

Out of the entire Dior Homme line DHS is my least favourite. I will always choose DHC or DHEFM over DHS.

It is good. I own more older fragrances. I have no problem with these older batches.
