Hear my prayers Father. I seem to bear the weight of the world on my shoulders as a single mom, I’m battling lupus and heart disease. I often face challenges that can seem insurmountable especially with raising two children with special needs. I’m trying to balance everything but Lord I’m struggling to make ends meet, to pay bills, and to put food on the table for my children and I feel so alone. At times I want to give up but I know Jesus will carry me. ❤

I’ve been listening to you for a while now. First in Missouri and then now since we moved to Iowa. We attend a local church. I still listen to you through the week. My husband bought me your book, and it even came with little gifts I can give him for Valentine’s Day. Well, your book came in the mail today and I wanted to listen to your sermon before I started the book. I feel you are a blessing and I can also feel the Holy Spirit in your words. Hi Nate. As someone who has been called to leave a lucrative career to make literally nothing, I know exactly what you're going through. While everyone's mission has different struggles and pitfalls, I can assure you they will come. Be strong and make a habit of leaning on God. He will always come through.
Im really surprised at my reaction to this video.
My wife and I took a leap 5 years ago. Since then, despite the uncountable times God has come through for us.
One of my struggles has been with self doubt. Somehow, someone else making a similar leap makes me feel a little better. Good luck. We will be praying for you.

My sermon notes for "God chose you, will you?"
1.) The God who created you is the same God changes you. How to change doesn't start with you but with the God that can change you
2.) It was hidden breath the word of God. What word has God spoken over you that is hiding something in this season? Do you is different when I AM is with you, God didn't say "do you" he said "I knew you".
3.) The problem with you doing you, is you may miss out on who you really are. When you give up most for what you want now, you are not doing you, you are being deceived. What if what you feel is true is actually a trap? Are you trapped in the prison of what you call your personality?
4.) Everything that is sabotaging you, that's not you
5.) If it's automatic, doesn't make it authentic. When you get out of the 'do you' trap, you get into the " new you " treadmill. To just do you is to live your cheated, walking but not going anywhere, don't get tricked. Get out of the trap and on the treadmill, a new thing
6.) You don't have to chase it when you are chosen, this is the way, walk in it. God is very comfortable with your process. He is with you in the middle of it. You are chosen, there is more in you than you knew. Don't ever chase what they say you can be
7.) Stop agreeing with your limitations and your past. Choose to live chosen, you wouldn't have picked you but God did. By grace of God you are chosen and are blessed
8.) God has give you everything for this season you are in

Please pray for my daughter. She has been clean from hard core drugs for 21/2 years. The Lord blessed her with a little girl, and she is the best mom ever! She has been falsely accused by the BF of domestic assault, and possibly facing jail time. Please pray for the judges to see through these false accusations, and let her go on with her life, as she is doing so well. She goes to court Thursday. Thank you so much for all the encouraging sermons.

We are lifting her up in prayer and believing that the Lord will give her the strength that she needs to get through these accusations and that she will continue to be an amazing mom to her little girl. Every time I listened to Pastor Steven and Sister Holly God has something good to encourage me with. I have tried what the nay sayers have declared about Pastor Steven but it keeps coming back just what I needed without Pastor even knowing it. God has revealed His Plan for me I just didn't know what a blessing it would be and how far reaching it would be. God is awesome!!!😀.
I love this church so much, please pray for me, because I do not believe everything every preacher says. His word speaks, He teaches us personally. He chose, He vindicates, He lives in and through us. This life is not fair, but He is perfectly just, and I put my trust in Him and Him alone. The word of God may say something to me and not to you. Everything the Lord made is good, and to be taken with thanksgiving. I chose Him, ONLY because He chose me. It is not my choosing, but Him choosing!
