With the whole world (=15%) moving to kubernetes, there's still room for some good solid regular linux servers. And those need automation. Your site needs to be deployed in a repeatable manner. Perhaps you need to roll out a system-wide change to some /etc file. A new ssh public key must be installed everywhere. Ansible is a relatively simple system for having a config in github and executing that config on servers. I'll explain how it works and I'll give some tips. I will also show some examples, ranging from something simple for my own single private server to tens of servers for my work.
