Love this album! You always amaze me with how fast you get an album done, but it still looks good and flows together. I think I am just too indecisive and need to get better at staying on task.
Thank you! I have to finish an album while I remember what I did and before I lose interest. I’m so bad about scrapping the past. I started a hs album for my son months ago and haven’t gotten anywhere on it 🤦🏻♀️
Thank you! We stayed with some friends so it was a good mix of relaxing and sightseeing. Our friends have never hung out with a scrapbooker so they got to see me stop at visitors centers, collect business cards and take a lot of photos😂
Yep, last time we went on a trip with non-scrapbookers I gave them a pouch and explained about collecting ephemera. They had fun collecting things for me. Either that or they secretly think I’m nuts! 🤣
omg i went there in 2017, thank you for sharing, i have some pics from our trip i neeed to put in a scrapbook, oh if you ever go back i highly reccomend Arlington National cemtary Changing of the guard tomb of the unknown soldier, its amazing to see in person. im in Oklahoma
You should definitely scrapbook your photos! When I took my son to DC in 2014 we went to Arlington National Cemetery and saw the changing of the guard. He also liked the Holocaust Museum, and we went to a couple of the other Smithsonian museums and a day trip to Gettysburg. There’s so many things to see in the DC area!

You create the coolest albums!
Thank you!
This looks like a fascinating trip! I love your use of ephemera in this album. All the maps, brochures, and tickets are a feast for the eyes! 😍

@@PrettyLittlePocket That’s a great idea! Might have to try that next time.
We went to DC last summer. It's a great city! I enjoyed seeing your pages and how you documented your trip. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you!
Love this! Washington DC has been on our list for a while now so this makes me really want to go!
You should definitely go if you do an East Coast US trip. I am mailing a postcard (actually 3) on Friday!

I usually purchase a few postcards in case my photos don't turn out well.
That’s a good idea. I like to buy postcards for places that don’t allow photos too!
