It was great to see Dave win his heats at Limerock in 21 and 22 during the Vintage Fall Festival.
What a great story, i love 2002. I have a similar story, while stationed in Germany in 78 i got a 71 colorado 1600. There i met a mechanic who escaped from Czechoslovakia with his teenage daughter in the trunk of a car. He worked on my car for Whiskey and marlboro cigarettes, would not take money. To this day i own a 2002 and i thoroughly enjoyed the video.

Wow what a great history on 70s 2002 racing!!! I’m restoring an IMSA GTU 2002 car formerly raced by Peter Herke in the late 70s on the West Coast. It had race history much further back but unfortunately he can’t recall who he bought it from. It came with injection and a slide throttle. My home track is Lime Rock too :)
