Unfortunately no, I on my first time doing that mission, actually tried super hard to beat them, because future Gohan is one of my favorite characters, and ended up dealing as much damage as you could to both of them. It just cutscene kills you anyway, even if you don't die 😢
Based on Gohans Namek power level, he'd only need 10 zenkai boosts to be stronger than 17 full-power without any training being calculated into the numbers. So I don't know why he died since he had to have fought them over 10 times in those 12ish years
That would have been really cool if there could be an alternate timeline where gohan wins, and cell ends up being more powerful because he kills this stronger gohan and absorbs him like he did to the regular humans.
They should have just had a little 10 second cutscene of the androids exploding, and then gohan standing triumphant, and then just cut to the credits. Like Chrono trigger’s early endings.
Honestly it would be nice if Dragon ball Kakarot had What if Scenarios kind of dlcs, Like we’ve seen some Dragon ball games have those kind of modes so it would be nice to see Kakarot have it.
I said this before, but there are way too many factors to account as to why Future Gohan didn't become stronger: - Training his body is realistically kind of useless if he can't train his technique as well, this is true for basically every DB character without plot armor - Gohan had no sparring partners for the longest time, which actually hindered his growth massively - Adding to that, everyone else was killed presumably before he even tapped into SSJ, Goku and Vegeta most definitely died before Gohan had a chance to train with them, so he likely had to learn the use of this form all by himself - Gohan might've got depression from seeing basically everyone he knows die, and if his spirit was broken (at least until Trunks rolled around) it would make sense that he didn't train at all... I mean, you can laugh at him for being weak, but grief can hit ANYONE like a goddamn truck. You don't know until you've been there. And... even with all of this being taken into consideration, Gohan was dangerously close to defeating the Androids, in their last fight specially, the only thing ensuring Gohan's defeat was the synchrony between the Androids, his lack of an arm when going 2v1 maybe had a part on it, but even with one arm, he was managing pretty well for the most part If his arm managed to survive the explosion, or if Gohan gave himself some more time to recover, it's very likely that he would've been able to take down at least one of them, and if both things happened, he for sure would've been able to defeat both of the Androids. People tend to shit on Gohan for not getting SSJ2 in the +10 year timeskip, but he was an absolute unit given his circumstances, there's a reason why he was the lone survivor among the fighters until he had to defend Trunks and get messed up because of it.
Yeah he definitely would’ve never unlocked SSJ2 without goku around because It just wasn’t like Gohan to even consider that there might even be a new power in the first place and without that guidance he’d never be able to ascend
It's an interesting experiment. But of course the devs weren't going to include an alternate outcome for this fight. Kakarot mostly follows the canon storyline, with a few exceptions (like DLC 1). It's not like Budokai 3 or even Tenkaichi 3 where you can change the course of the story. So yes, of course Future Gohan's death is unavoidable.
Logic dictates that Future Gohan would certainly have beaten c17 and c18 if he had been training assiduously throughout his life. However, when Trunks goes back in time (dragon ball super arc black goku), he points out that Gohan as a student was weak, as he could hardly feel his Ki (power). So Trunks understood why Gohan never managed to regain his level. Moral of the story: without training, a sayan loses a part of his power that he can never regain. Stopping training is irreversible sooner or later...

Future Gohan definitely should not have lost to the androids. Near constant zenkai boosts for nearly 13 years means this Gohan, who has the same potential as the Gohan we know,would make beings like black frieza tremble
There weren't any senzu to completely heal him and all they did was toy with him, when he was beat to near death they killed him. He also was constantly fighting so he never got to completely recover from fighting.
@@Lasikisal he was constantly being beaten into the ground, he had plenty of senzu, even small zenkai boosts are major for gohan. senzu aren't the only way to get zenkais, they just make it easier so you aren't sitting in a hospital for months on end.
I haven't played the dlc so I don't know if it's possible to defeat at regular lvl..but are you telling me if you was just really good at the game at reg lvl and got them down to 1% u be sitting there the 1st play through like "what is going on!??" U really have to die like in the show ? Lol
