Excellent. I like the LSL better for sure. I recently got a whitfill with virgil arlo pickups that is amazing. Beats my master built custom shop as well. I got the john cruz 63.
Can you kindly tell me how thick the medium profile is on the Saticoy? This is subjective I know but is it like a baseball bat? Can you compare it to something similar?
Bought my first LSL Tele 2 years ago, loved it so much bought 2 more, then bought a Saticoy. I've had at least a dozen Fender Strats in my life time, 69 years old, I only have one now, it's a CS Masterbuild, sounds great, plays great. But my favorite Strat of all time is the Saticoy. I've had a Kelton Swade tele, very nice, sounded awesome but didn't like the vintage radius, traded it off. The 3 LSL Teles are just fabulous, I'd buy more but they are hard to find and I'm not ordering one because I might die of a stroke any day. :-)
The first time I plugged my LsL was a moment I'd never forget. They really nailed what a strat should sound and feel like! Also we need you in good health so get that 4th LsL
Great playing and you did a great job of demonstrating each guitars strengths. But the LSL has a very clear tone all the way through each string - incredible balance and clarity. That alone is worth the price for this holy grail of guitars.
Awesome review... but, dude, that playing! Starting at 8-min mark, I graciously thank you for the lesson! Quick question -- are those the 60's pups wound in-house by Lance and team? The LSL sounded fantastic!
Or you can go the parts caster route! Warmoth makes fantastic necks to your specifications and I’ve built a couple using genuine fender bodies bought off reverb or stratosphere. My latest project is with MJT building a custom body. Oh and any combination of hardware and electronics your heart desires 😀
LSL. I have a Tbone1 and a CS Tele...both great....TBone is my favorite...throaty and delicious (unique tone from my other 9 Teles). Don't play my Strats much...but if I did...a Saticoy would be my next S-style. Amazing tone....oh, amazing playing too.
Nice but Rosewood VS Maple? Maybe try a Fender Custom With Rosewood? But I do hear a difference in Sustain .. LSL seems like it's more resonant. Pick ups on the Fender seemed a little duller.. Not horrible Dull, What did your Custom Build cost Compared to The Fender?
Just discovered your channel. Both of those strats sound marvelous thanks in no small part to your playing. If I had to choose it would be the LSL. It’s a little more throaty with a slightly softer attack to ear. However as you know what a player hears is different than what the audience hears. How do you define the difference?
Thanks so much! So, with the LSL a HUUUGE part of why I think it is leaps better than the CS is due to its playability. You know how when you dial in an amazing tone live or at home, and you just...play better? The LSL instantly gives me that. The other part of why I love it more is the overall balance of the pickups. This may sound stupid, but I always test the neck pickup of a strat(Where I'm generally at 90% of the time) by playing in the middle of the neck. In the C# box if you will haha! If it has that BIG sound where if you attack the notes they just sound HUGE (think Hendrix/SRV/Mayer), then I consider that pickup to be a winner. The LSL has all of that, and amazing build quality
Your pickup heights are sooo high. I have a set of LsL 50's in my ash strat and run them very low to get the sound as open as possible. Yet yours sounds wonderful! X
Hi! The LSL just sounds great! Are these the „standard“ handwound pickups by LSL? Which options did you exactly take for your amazing guitar? Greets from Germany, Maverick
I am only recently finding out that you can actually buy guitars in whatever era specs you need from a good builder and get something that is as good or better than a masterbuilt from Fender. Danocaster's are quite good and only US$4000 but there are plenty of other builders out there. I am having a strat made by Frank Grubisa out of Australia and he charges $4000AUD. I honestly think he builds some of the best guitars in the world and I have had vintage strats on loan for long periods of time.
Yes I agree. Technology and skill have advanced substantially into he last 30 years to where replicating anything is way easier than before. Enjoy your new strat!
Up until about a year ago, I never used pedals. So I needed an amp that had a great clean sound, and a great second channel overdrive, and reverb. The super sonic had all of these
Always been a fender guy , but that lsl sounds way good . Great playing. Personally, I can't hack the chickn pickn or funk stuff , but the rock blues tones are great . Lsl for the win this time.
You played the LsL with a lot more enthusiasm than you did the fender , the fender could have been a squire strat ,they all sound the same . The LsL was better ,but you could play a 2x4 with strings and make it sound good .
Picked up two more Teles a few months ago... a Fender CS and an LSL Tbone One. Love both...love LSL more. The pups are amazing...hoping to get my bid accepted on Reverb tonight for a used set to drop into one of my other Teles.
I have two CV50's Teles with Fralin and Lollars...both sound GREAT....neither quite as good as my LSL Tbone One or Fender CS....but truly great for the modest investment.
Please read the description!! My vote is LSL. All day.
Once again an amazing job
I like the LSL Egg over the Fender
Excellent. I like the LSL better for sure. I recently got a whitfill with virgil arlo pickups that is amazing. Beats my master built custom shop as well. I got the john cruz 63.
LSL all day!!! So what if I’m biased because I work there!🤘😃🔥
How consistent are they?
Can you kindly tell me how thick the medium profile is on the Saticoy? This is subjective I know but is it like a baseball bat? Can you compare it to something similar?
@@vincent33195 sorry for the hold up! Med C .840 - .870 .890 - .920 C Shape, Smooth - Standard Neck Shape
Well you know, when the quality is better with lsl, are you still gonna stay with fender. NOT ME ??????
I think that's probably the most tasteful and coherent "non-fender" strat headstock design I've ever seen. Beautiful guitar!
I have a Tokai and it's the same
Nash has the legit Fender headstock Im pretty sure
LSL for me, the tone when the TS kicks in is jaw dropping! Absolutely stunning looking guitar.
LSL al the way. Nothing against Fender I have a few. The sound of the LSL is amazing.

All the more reason to get one! Enjoy the time you have left.
That makes you family brother!
Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton used to use the middle pickup quite a lot. Great playing!
Love the sound of that LSL. Are the pickups the same ones that go in all the saticoy models?
Yes they are. Built and wound in house at LSL. These are the 60s pickups! Thank you
The head drop at 4:38 🤣🤣🤣. I did the same thing when I played an LSL for the first time. Pickups are so balanced and the necks are the best by far.
Great playing and you did a great job of demonstrating each guitars strengths. But the LSL has a very clear tone all the way through each string - incredible balance and clarity. That alone is worth the price for this holy grail of guitars.
Agree 100%
And thank you!!
Lsl ftw! I have a T-bone , and by far the best neck I’ve played on any guitar !
Awesome review... but, dude, that playing! Starting at 8-min mark, I graciously thank you for the lesson! Quick question -- are those the 60's pups wound in-house by Lance and team? The LSL sounded fantastic!

I've made 4 so far
Hmmm...Fender is way less harsh and has a ton of space in the tone. Butter.
Hi! The LSL sounds great! what is your signal chain and post processing for recording this demo? Thanks!
I just used the clean side of my marshal DSL40 and a tube screamer, no post processing. recorded with a condensor mic and an sm57 into the interface

What amp is that? Beautiful cleans and great with the 808.
I heard him mumble "Marshall" ant tube screamer.
Get some brother!
Great playing, My man.
Thank you!
LSL has this by a landslide. Wow! ...and I have a really nice Fender Stratocaster.
I absolutely agree!
@@BuddyBlues Same here, I have a regular C.S. Strat
Went to a boutique stores a few years ago looking for a vintage sounding S-style guitar. End up getting LSL.
Love my LSL Tele (or T-Bone, or whatever they call it). Great choice.
Hi! The LSL just sounds great! Are these the „standard“ handwound pickups by LSL? Which options did you exactly take for your amazing guitar?
Greets from Germany, Maverick
Thanks! Yes they are the 60s pickups that LsL makes
@@BuddyBlues My LsL will be shipping to me soon
I laughed out loud to the intro... "I don't have a Strat problem... you have a Strat problem"
For some reason I'm going with the Fender. Not sure why though 😇
Hello, Fender sounds less aggressive and has more warmth ...and it looks cool.
Definitely better clean sounds!
You’re playing is just 😮. That pick’n’flick style, man!
Thank you!!
I have to go with LSL
Hi! How do you date these? I've got an old onw too, but it doesn't have dates on either pots, neck or neck cavity!
Best regards,
Mikkel
call lance
The LSL clearly sounds better, and their aging/finishing is amazing!
The best! Congrats on yours
Hello. Do you know the price of a custom LsL with a system similar to the Fender S1?
I'm sorry I don't, send LSL an email om their website they always answer very quickly
Hey man! Email us at info@lslinstruments.com
LsL!!!!! What a sound!!!!!!
That LSL is ridiculous. I kinda wanted one before, but now it’s time.
what amp did you use in the recording? Sounds great
Thank you! I used my Marshall DSL40

Great playing man 🕺🏼 new subscriber after hearing you play 👌🏽
Thanks so much! Welcome aboard!
Can you tell me why you like the supersonic amp? I have one but don’t see a lot of people with one
Up until about a year ago, I never used pedals. So I needed an amp that had a great clean sound, and a great second channel overdrive, and reverb. The super sonic had all of these
Is the LsL a bit punchier and arcticulate? Or is it a slight output variance, or audio level?
Lance is King, simple.
agreed
Paul Rose my man!
Dammit i dont care what's better I love your playing
hahaha thanks so much!!
great playing!
Thank you!!!
Both beautiful guitars. The Fender CS will always have a better resale value (if that’s important to you). Cheers!
Yep. LSL all day
Always been a fender guy , but that lsl sounds way good . Great playing. Personally, I can't hack the chickn pickn or funk stuff , but the rock blues tones are great . Lsl for the win this time.
Neither can I but I’m reallllyyyyy good at pretending 😂 thank you for watching!
@@BuddyBlues way good. Thanks again for the demo , it may just have nudged me towards lsl . Mibbee.
Would be hard not to be inspired with that LsL in your hands. That thing sounds divine.
Fender all time
WHOOOOOOOOAAAAA YEAH!!!!!!
😎 😎😎
Do a comparison between Suhr, PRS silver sky and these guitars please
Yes please send $8,000 🤣
the STRAT sounds very much better .
and its looks like you enjoyed it more.
I want the Waller - you selling?
No sir I'm sorry, you can certainly find them on Reverb!

Jesus, that Fender sounds great for what it is, but LSL is in a different tier altogether. Think I know my next strat/Tele purchase

@@lazvt8469 very nice. LsL are amazing guitars.
Read description before comment 🔥🤣
This is great, but the one I really want to have a better look of is that metallic blue one hanging on the wall.
Same
LSL BOOOM PURA BOMBA BRO!!!!
The best!!
Wow, I preferred the LSL.
LSLs are very nice
I agree!
When you kicked in that TS 808 on the LSL! 😁😁
LSL >>>>>>>>>> Fender
the strat sounds way better
I have a squire that sounds nearly as good as both of those somehow
no you dont trust me.
I have two CV50's Teles with Fralin and Lollars...both sound GREAT....neither quite as good as my LSL Tbone One or Fender CS....but truly great for the modest investment.
Fender
fender easily always has and always will be the best, plus that boost is awesome!!!!
The boost is so cool! Awesome when activated behind an already cranked amp
Both please
