$400 is ridiculous. Buy a $40 Arbor Press from Harbor Freight instead. When I was a beginner it was helpful but I rarely use it anymore. Just learn how to properly smack stuff with your hammer and save yourself all that time of changing out dyes, not to mention the money saved.

We just purchased one of these presses and it didn't come with an instructional manual and we can't seem to find one online, so, can you post a link here please? I realize there are instructional videos here, however, that doesn't help at all when there's no WIFI at the shop. I guess while I'm commenting about the press, I'm wondering why it wasn't designed to be a lot more accurate when keeping the 3D and letter stamps nice and straight without any fuss? For the kind of dollars a person has to spend I'd think that that wouldn't be an issue, it would sure make it a lot easier and much quicker to use, time is money!

IS THE PRESS SHAFT ACTUALLY AT AN ANGLE TO THE TABLE OR IS THIS AN OPTICAL ILLUSION IN THE VIDEO?

It was just the camera being slightly off balance. If you will notice the table slants as well. Sorry for the confusion

The 3d chuck won't go down if preceding alphabet letter is on the leather. JR

It would be nice to have a manual or video that shows how to adjust the dies properly. There is nothing with the dies that indicate which is the male end or female end and where on the press it goes, and nothing with the press itself either. Very poor instructions. I assume by watching this the male parts always go on the bottom and that is always the bigger of the two parts.
