But since Soojin left the group, Shuhua trained so hard with her skills, got improvement, and got her more lines in some songs including Soojin's lines. I think it really depends on what part of any culture you use. I usually go by the rule that if I could travel to that country, go to a store and buy it, it is fair game. Clothing in general (as long as it doesn’t come with black/brown/yellow face etc. and is regarded as a costume is okay) for example: wearing a kimono is ok, cosplaying as a Japanese person is not. Dressing up as a geisha is a grey area as you can book this as an experience with a photo shoot all over Tokyo and Kyoto. I would generally say, if you want to use cultural inspiration it’s best to get into contact with someone from that culture as a sensitivity consultant.

I think it really depends on what part of any culture you use. I usually go by the rule that if I could travel to that country, go to a store and buy it, it is fair game. Clothing in general (as long as it doesn’t come with black/brown/yellow face etc. and is regarded as a costume is okay) for example: wearing a kimono is ok, cosplaying as a Japanese person is not. Dressing up as a geisha is a grey area as you can book this as an experience with a photo shoot all over Tokyo and Kyoto. I would generally say, if you want to use cultural inspiration it’s best to get into contact with someone from that culture as a sensitivity consultant.
