Go shard and octarine after your defu and menta is super op, and go for q cd talent at lv15, it has only 4s cd and 1k+cast range. farms very fast and safe and deal tons of damage. The enemy can hardly kill you because you nver man up. Its very popular now in chinese pub. Really op

At like 20:20 you're talking about how the hood may feel useless if the enemy isnt messing with you. Then mere seconds later they invade your ancients with magic burst that you survived because of the hood. It feels like such a strange buy, but PL has survival issues that rushing things like wraith bands or early diffusal doesn't help with. You don't even need to complete the hood, a ring of health is usually enough to keep your health high enough.
How do you group your illusions? I mean I know how to use groups with ctrl+hkey then use. But it resets every game and i always find myself testing which dopple is tanky so i can start using group on it. Is there a way to not make my group reset for a specific hero?
Hey BSJ thx for this series it's really both helpful and fun! Can you also do a video on how to play as a carry when your team loses all lanes? Imagine a scenario where your safelane goes at best even, but the other lanes lose so hard that both your triangle and your primary jungle get invaded repeatedly, starting at min 10-12. I know this is very specific, but a lot of games at 2k actually are stomps (in either direction), about 60% I'd guess or maybe even more. They're definitely too many to be ignored and I wonder how someone who is really good would deal with them while grinding.
You usually play in the enemy half of the map in the jungle, and try to get in a few observer wards, and cut waves, and look at the map to see if you know where the heroes that kill you are, then hope the enemy team dives and throws the game, illusion heroes are good at this. That being said you will most likely lose these games, so go for a rapier if you can and mute your team.
Bsj, u took the evasion talent at lvl 10 are u confident it's the better one or 15 attack speed is also good? Ive been spamming pl and always taking the attack speed talent
15 attack speed is good. But evasion is better ( in this game ) . He got free farm . Plus he went jungle make him more survive. And also he against 2 physical heroes... Thats my opinion.. The evasion also u can apply on PA.. if u are against magic hero,nuker or something u can try focus on skill 2...if physical hero,try focus on 3rd skill..also if u have difficulties on lane,u can jungle..
you can make treads depends on ur main attribute hero. If you play agi hero,you can go elvenskin,if intel then go robe of magi.. it actually make u farm better..elvenskin > glove > boot..
If ever your team is winning in early game like 12 minutes or 20 minutes and your the carry but you still don't have a good items what's the best approach for that should I join them and push or just farm until I get the objective items as a carry, but my heroes team mates are all spam skills and disable not good at pushing only good at hero kills

Came to relax from my tilt and stopped watching when I found the mid was a nyx. The reason I was so tilted was I had a nyx steal mid from our viper. When we all thought nyx picked a pos 4 and picked accordingly (he/shedding communicate which pos he was picking for and picked first)
That tower literally does nothing for radiant you might go for it as dire as its close to roshan and ancients. Only time you take that tower if the enemy mass tps to their safe lane like idiots. In this specific case pl cant show up to that fight, Medusa likely farming ancients so they cant really push, and for a tower they don't need, furthermore it is likely to be a 4v5 and is where the enemy team wants to be anyway(picked of if they try to spilt push). as for what radiant should do, they control 3/4 of the map.............
I don't play PL but I assume it's like any other unit; select it and ctrl + unit hotkey. Dota remembers your in game unit control binds for each hero, every game! Edit: Btw to find it I believe it is the brighter illusion. You should have two dull illusions and one brighter one.
The games that most people want to see is how you play when you are really hard-countered. Picking first pick PL kinda leaves you open to counter picks, but they didn't really do it this game. Heroes I would consider counter picks to PL are those with AOE disables and damage, pure damage is a bonus. For example Axe, Timbersaw, Puck, Pango, Jakiro, EShaker, Grim. P.S Their cores were kinda okay vs you, but their supports were attrocious. P.S2 Also maybe consider games in the high 3k bracket low 4k because its not really fun when the opponents don't pressure you at all.
He was 7/0, 6-slotted at 28min into the game and his team still decided to answer nyx' calls (who had only 2 itens) instead of pl's... And I bet they all flammed pl for not helping them during all those fights

People in these brackets mostly need to try out more things and learn new things in order to get up to higher rank. Which is why if youre ancient/legend players and you dont improve, you will stay in these brackets very long
Just did that laning phase against a husker mid, by auto attacking every creep i had until half hp, then focusing on last hit, he just couldn't harass me after because of all the creeps... and hitting him if he comes any where close... completely zoned out the and he went jungle around level 4 ish. I never really thought how much auto attacking creep can fuck your lane up but also fuck up theirs if used intentionally....

Yes you're entirely right. They are just bad at the game. Low rank games always go on forever because they don't understand their relative strength to the enemy so they run around doing nothing until it's late game and team with harder carries wins.
At 26:53 you comment on how the team is bottom in the dead lane and how they should be playing around you top. But doesn't their fighting bottom allow you to farm freely top? Doesn't the stale mate favour you - if medusa (or anyone else) comes top then you can beat her 1v1. Until then, you farm. Why is this bad? At 29:03 you comment that there is nothing to be done mid so you will stay top. Earlier you said that PL defends objectives by pressuring the opponent's. What was the reason for not hitting the enemy Tier 2 top tower? Isn't PL capable of clearing the waves and also taking the tower? If someone comes to fight you, can't you beat them 1v1? I didn't understand these two points. Thank you for your patience.
if his team comes top he freefarms just as much, difference is they take bunch of towers entire map kills etc while pl farming countless reliable objectives as for the top t2 moment if you know you can force someone to tp with illusions then its game losing to waste your hero time to do it, as you saw he forced mk to tp just with his illusions, and yes he likes 1v1 but not behind t2 with no creepwave diving t2 when additional heroes can tp this would be a bit crazy: he only goes for these 1v1s when he's chilling following his natural farming pattern and the guy is in the way of his farm: if the guy is not* in the way of his farm he doesn't care at all about him
Also wrong. PL is strong because he can get to melee to deal his damage, he can kill someone disengage the fight and come back few seconds later with full hp. So he just wins the fights with sustainability and spawning illusion like cancer, he's not called cancer lancer for no reason. So you want to be ending the game before it gets to the point where lancer just slaps everyone and autowins.
They see PL and pick Medusa, then BSJ thinks it's about pushing blah lane or whatever. Also, when you get almost all the creeps in the first 10 waves or so, it's 90% of the time over, no matter what you do in the rest of the game.
Surely educational but this was a perfect scenario, try a team feeding and not being to have space to farm and having no vision. And the your jungle being invaded. That is where i wanna see bsj deal with it
And any hero that ends the game between 20 - 30 minutes in and can fight PL will beat him. Juggernaut, huskar, leshrac, storm spirit, ember will wreck his face.
