I think the shorts videos will be great for anything you can get across in under a minute. Basically a TL;DR version of a video. This is a perfect example the instruction is solder TP6 to a switch to ground as the fix or bypass. If it was more complicated than that you'd probably be doing a regular short video like a 5 minute one.
Replacing the button means you a) need to have a replacement button of the exact right size and shape, b) are good at doing surface mount soldering. Most people fail at either a) or b) or both.

Or you can short pins on the button with tweezers

well done! any idea why there is a button in the first place?
To enable you to load a .uf2 file without having to solder a wire to the test point would be my considered guess.
