I have been saying for years that The Warning would one day be recognized as the greatest power trio of all time. This is yet another performance that drives home my point. They will be considered legends long before they are finished gracing our world with their musical genius. LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!
Although they are very polished and professional and I would put them in a solid upper mid pack with Kings X and Triumph, they have a long way to go before they reach RUSH levels of power Trio. That being said, they have many years left to reach that point.
@@ianskinner1619 as a looooong time fan and follower of RUSH (seen them in concert multiple times during the late 70’s and 80’s) I still believe The Warning absolutely have the potential of such recognition. Their desire, work ethic, and drive are on a level that far exceeds most bands.
She is getting better and better as a singer too. She's regularly sounding live as good as the studio recordings, which is very hard for most singers (even the best and most famous ones) to do. The whole band is singing better. Their vocals in their live shows now sound better than earlier this year. This is a truly great band, tremendous musicality, awesome stage presence. I can't wait for them to headline bigger venues in the US and play more of their outstanding music from all their albums!
In what way? Lzzy is great, Moriah great, Courtney Laplante amazing!, Dorothy incredible, Lilith great, and many others that escape me right now, it's exciting how many excellent female front women are killing it, and don't get me wrong Dany is obviously in that bunch.

Well I'm going to have to say Taylor Momsen is doing that Lzzy Hale is doing that and Doro is the heavy metal Queen right now also doing that only in Europe and you don't hear much about her because she tours mostly Europe. Then you have floor Jensen.
Ask me a year ago how the band Rush was going to be reincarnated, and I never would have guessed it would be in the form of The Warning: Three kick-ass Mexican sisters; a power-rock trio blessed with incredible talent and every musical gift imaginable. I'm from Canada; Rush was Canadian. The Warning is Canadian now, too. See you in November in Edmonton.

PAU, ALE AND DANY ARE POWER, ENERGY AND PASSION, THE BEST CURRENT ROCK TRIO, INTELLIGENT ROCK HAS ARRIVED, THEIR SONGS PROVE IT, THE WARNING WILL BE LEGEND
It's beyond difficult playing lead+rhythm guitar + lead vocals live all in the same song. Pau playing drums has precise backup vocal timing live to tip Dany over the top vocally, as Dany is playing difficult lead parts at the same time. It's impressive. CHOKE is my favorite (english) Dany lead vocal song. It would be interesting to hear Dany sing more songs in Spanish. The Bass was well defined in the entire gig. Three piece band with bass should be in our face.
To be fair, there is at least one guitar backing track playing here: On the "Drifting out of trust" verse Dany's playing chords live with a delay and overdrive, but there's a second, clean guitar sound, playing 3-note figures. This is also the case during the Octane performance of Martirio during the solo.

Based on interviews, they held off signing with a label to keep studio and live similar, as possible. There are few lead parts but they do incorporate another layer to Dany's job.
Absolutely perfect. I love Ale's short solo too. And Pau's drumming is spot on as usual even though they had to put her in a soundproof area so she would cave in the buildings walls...😉

We all know that Dany is very good singer but still her singing in these live videos amazes me every time.

There are no difficult lead parts. The whole Song is written relatively simple. Due to this it's possible to perform it live in a proper way.

Ale's voice is more suited for slow tempo songs or ballads. For hard rockers, Dany and Pau are better.
