Well I just found a treasure for me in a perfect time. Blasting this while its snowing should be a whole experience.
There comes some great stuff from australia nowadays
By the river I dwell, where the water whispers
Lost lullabies, sighing deep inside
Solstafir, imbibe and drown me
To re-appear, blazing white light ecstasy
Ricochet of stars, you appear before me
Face in my hands, as you weep my name
Time grows short, we are almost there
Beyond all help, as we dance into the void
Come into this night, atone in the eclipse
What does it matter now?
As we fall inside, and watch shadows die
Three Rivers will be our guide.
Come into this night, atone in the eclipse
What does it matter now?
As we fall inside, and watch shadows die
Three Rivers will be our guide.
Their second album soon under Napalm, pretty sick!
Such a beautiful ethereal sound, I am enchanted 💫
Great for me, Agalloch`s fan.
Same here
Same here
Just wow! Beautiful acoustic folky sections and powerful driving metal.... both giving me chills
You probably dont care at all but does anybody know of a method to log back into an instagram account..?
I stupidly lost my password. I would love any tricks you can offer me
Wow... Truly breathtaking. I pre-ordered a copy just now.
Same
Beautiful project mixing black and folk elements with subtility
Absolutely Breathtaking!
This should have way more views/listens. Fantastic album
It's been posted 1 day ago, I am sure it will gain popularity over time ! (I hope)
True masterpiece ! I have pre-ordered both cd and vinyl, because Emily Highfield's project deserves all the support in the world . Alongside with ,,When a shadow is forced into the light" of Swallow The Sun, this is one of the two best albums i have listened this year ! \m/ Best songs for me : Three Rivers and Sovran Shrines.
I just purchased the album thru the provided link in the video's description (it works). Like Andrei said, I wanted to show my support for Emily Highfield's project.
Swallow the Sun album is fantastic !!
Wooooooww. What a so beautiful ethereal catacombs. Hail Suldusk and BMP. 🤘🏾🙏🏾🇦🇺🎸🤘🏾
Wow! Like I need this album and a shirt. Love it
My ears certainly pricked up at "The Elm". I'm glad that the description explains its relationship to Trees of Eternity.
This sounds absolutely beautiful
This is a masterpiece.
Just pre-ordered this album on Amazon. Can't wait for the 11th. Love the sound and atmosphere of this album. True Black Metal. Thanks for posting.
this is so beautiful thanks for posting
Thanks! Brilliant!
One of the greatest parts of this band/project is that the driving force behind it has a mental health recovery page on Instagram.
If more black metal bands (yes I know this is mostly folk) did that I'd love it. I love it when people share their struggles, particularly since I struggle so much every day.
A genuine masterpiece in the making! Such a breathtakingly beautiful sound and voice that's weaved a spell on me. My favorite new artist of the last decade!
Yes on me to, such a beautiful voice and sounding.
Hallatar!
A collaboration between Amalie Bruun (Myrkur) and Emily Highfield (Suldusk) and I can rest in peace.
You read my mind.
and with Maria Franz from heilung...
@@Beccati.sto.trapezio don't forget Eivor
If only Aleah was still here
Going to buy that stuff for sure!
Just breath taking!
It's a very solid project! I enjoyed a lot listening to.
"The elm" hermosa adaptacion de "Sinking Ships"
I too was thinking the same lmao!
Solus Ipse for me like journey to Silent Hill!
Mysterious!
Full of pain!
One way trip...
Damn this is impressive
Amazing work
Ano, úžasné !
9:38 the Cello entrance. OMG. BEAUTIFUL. Stunning Dark Music by Emily Highfield's.
Beautiful
Another great random click
I will Return Again to Listen … Captivating !!!!
beautiful
wow.... i love it
Excellent!!!
a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. I like how versitile black metal as a genre can be, one album might be hammering blastbeats from the first second, then another might be haunting and melancholy like this. This is kinda like a BM version of Jinjer where it alternates beautiful vocals & BM screams.
I really like both bands but this is quite different from Jinjer.
ruin3r I saw this more the works of “Lady-Opeth”
Awesome 😍
Awesome 🤘 😑 🤘
This was really good.
Sublime 🚀
Nice!!
inlove tbfh
This sounds like the gods of music are making love to me.
It's like Emma Ruth Rundle meets Falls of Rauros!
I need this album on spotify. Please.
Its coming Bruna! April 12
@@suldusk444 OMG!! Thanks!!!!
Aphasia
Me indica algo do mesmo genero, por favor?
ninguém aqui me respondeu.
👊👊👌👌
Oh, that's a good album. Listening to it for the third time. Genre is non-essential. Is it stoner rock or black metal? Doesn't matter, it's good music.
Aquilus & Hallatar vibes.
Surely Horace of Aquilushas a hand in this album. It has his scent all over it.
Does anybody remember the Band AVRIGUS from Australia?....reminds me a little bit ....
A primeira musica destoou do restante. Quase passei direto.
Eu amo ouvir estudando! ;)
I don't want call this music BM but pagan 🎶
I can see Emily Highfield as some witch lady who lives on the outskirts of town playing her guitar outside her cabin in the woods. I know I'd be drawn to visit her {her downward looking smile making me wonder what I just got myself into,,,,,,then slowly realizing that I don't care} [spell takes effect] :-)

Im looking for albums similar to this so any help is welcome !
NOÊTA - Elm
The song "The Elm" sounds just like "Sinking Ships" by Trees of Eternity with difference lyrics. WTF?
Responses from the artist to "The Elm" video comment : "This is an adaptation of Sinking Ships with credit and permissions. I would never copy an artist without authorisation. It is akin to stealing. This is my tribute to Aleah Stanbridge who was a gifted musician and did not live to see the impact her music had." and
"This is an adaptation of Sinking Ships - my tribute to Aleah Stanbridge who never lived to see the impact her music had. Juha Raivio kindly permitted me to record this."
@@eddy.silva32 Thanks for this - I just heard this for the first time and couldn't ignore the similarities. Nice to have some context, and props to the the artist for the beautiful tribute.
It's an adaptation, as it says in Suldusk's bandacamp page: "“The Elm” is an adaptation of Aleah’s and Juha Raivio’s song “Sinking Ships”."
It's decent, good atmosphere. Don't really see what everyones raving about though
It seems to lack something can't put my finger on it
Dear Myrkur,
THIS FUCKING WORKS!! Take notes.
STFU
like Agalloch but good! awesome!
Are you saying Agalloch isn't good???
Third track "The Elm" sounds exactly like Trees of Eternity- Sinking Ships. Ehh.. :/

That make a sense, cheers the artist for keeping her spirit in this very decent album still alive!
@@rhilan5875 for me and not only, this is far more than very decent album, this is an amazing album .
Uhm..only know Spear of Longinus, Destroyer 666 n Bestial Warlust from these britain colonized South hemisphere soils and thus must be.
Then if you like this and Don't know Woods Of Desolation you should. DSBM but still atmospheric.
There's nothing "blackened" about this.
Sorry, I Always try something else, no, I don't like it, I like ugly and fast black metal, but I don't push "dislike" coz I respect BMP
It's okay when you don't like it and I would say it's also okay to push ''dislike'', disrespect would be something different.
This band is recommended for people who like Myrkur and Agalloch, I like them and I like Suldusk now. The folk elements are great.
But of course, the classic stuff is also nice.
You may not like it but I like your attitude to it.
