@@j.j2998 Cynthia Erivo is brilliant - my biggest concern about her is if she does a British accent because it's gonna take sime getting used to lol. I say this as someone with a British accent. I'm interested to see her play Elphaba, all of the songs I've heard her belt are very different to Elphaba's style of music so I'm crossing my fingers that she can pull it off. I've yet to see her sustain a high belt for the common opt up in No Good Deed. My fan casting choice was Jessica Vosk (looove Jessica Vosk) as Elphaba, or a previous Broadway/Westend Elphaba, so I will admit there's always going to be this slight disappointment, but I'm still excited for Cynthia's take!
