I just did the same thing on a cement curb with my 2022 KIA FORTE GT. Since the car is only 4 months old, and my scratch on the rim was worse than yours, I just couldn't take having this issue stand on such a new car. If the care was 2 or more years old, I would not have bothered. Anyway, I ordered the new rim (not from KIA of course) and had the switch done at a local Mavis Tire.
I have a Kona n and I owned a stinger and had almost the same scuffs but less.I drive carefully and would never get any car that has any rims of lower profile then this.I also got the kona cause it sits up high.Go look at any sports car that is used or any car that sits low with low profile rims--the front skirts are usually scuffed up and so are the door sills.BTW for about 100 dollars a wheel--you can get it fixed and even have the rim coated to match the color of the car.I hope I never scuff mine up but if they do i might just have them recoat it in red--its a little over 100 a wheel here--fixes all damage on the rim and gives you a choice to hardcoat it a color--guaranteed for life short of any damage.

Dude, that was so minor. If you have to have a macro shot to see it, you are really nit picking. But anyways, keep up the video's. How much was the wheel and tire coverage? Also keep in mind license plate frames will get you pulled over in some states. See how it covers your year on your plate, yep that will get you stopped in pretty much any state, if the LEO wants to do so.
@@true_n_thusiast Here is another horror story last night we had a really hard rain in Phoenix well I'm driving in the rain then boom I ran over a manhole that had no cover on it the rain must of blown it off through the flooding the water covered it up well the rim was trashed tire torn OK I bought the spare setup AAA went to put the spare on it don't fit because of the size of the rotors and caliper even though I got it through the dealer he is what sucks no dealer in AZ and maybe parts of the US don't have our tire Pirelli wont have them till October. Good thing is you can put in a claim with the city to pay for it get this a wheel is over 600 bucks I said the heck with it I might get the Elantra N tires and new konig mesh bronze wheels heck for the price of one of our wheels I can get 2 konigs.So if your dealer has a tire buy it up real fast!
How many miles do you have on yours? I'm close to 3k. And I've got to take mine in because when driving on automatic dropping from 4th to 3rd to 2nd. Is just bad. You can feel it and hear it. The transmission. Upshifting its no issue manual or auto. But at those shifts specifically it's jerky and it will stutter like and feel like the car brakes some while the rpm goes up. By like 1,000 sometimes. Now this doesn't happen all the time but more than not. And it's more subtle in eco mode and normal. But in sport and n.. it's super annoying.
I have a little over 2k and that jerking you’re talking about usually happens for me too when downshifting to 1st gear in n mode. I think since the transmission is electronic the software is searching for the correct gear and its resulting in lag. If you take it in and they figure something out for you please let me know!

I have a Kona N In my wheel and tire package covers PDR are used it already wants one little thing no chip fixed up at no cost.
