It would be so crazy to think 🤔 that when Cap sat on that bench and gave Falcon the shield that Cap had already seen and been thru both Doomsday and Secret Wars as old man Steve! Insane!
My guess on Spider-Noir. It may be bad. But in a good way. Bad phrasing. It may just be weird Cage shenanigans that most will hate but have a cult fandom.
@46:42 this episode, and previous, your audio keeps cutting out John. Please find your short. I'm thinking it's the XLR cable, you've got a pretty decent kink/90 right there.
Not sure where SCREEN RANT gathered their misinformation about the later BLADE films shifting to a PG-13 rating, but I have the entire trilogy on my shelf, and all three are very much R-rated.
On first watch, I thought Age of Ultron was ok. Didn't hate it but I went in with low expectations. 2nd watch, didn't even finish it. Thought it was boring. 3rd watch (after Endgame) pretty good. It's definitely aged well.
@Magdalena8008s I get that, but I am asking what is old man Steve doing in the current MCU drama…like is he just standing around not doing anything? Will the old Steve help alongside this young Steve?
Can someone explain to me how Logan never would have happened without the success of Deadpool according to John? Principal photography for Logan started in May 2016, 2-3 months after Deadpool released. Doubt they went through the entire pre-production in that time…
Who’s to say Fox didn’t decide to take a chance after they saw how good Deadpool was looking during its production? In that way then John is right in saying Deadpool helped paved the way for Logan
If I had to guess I think Logan would have been PG13 but after the Deadpool success they decided to go with an R rating. Honestly doing this wouldn’t necessarily have changed the script much but would have just made the action more violent and graphic. This is just a guess.
The problem with Kevin Feige is he's known for one brand, in terms of hard numbers he's the most successful producer of all time, but in terms of range not a chance, he's not in the top three producers Jerry Bruckheimer, Joel Silver and Mario Kassar. Who did all kinds of films Action, Drama, Thrillers, Sci-fi and Fantasy and were successful with original material, took chances and created brands. To me they're the holy trinity.
20:05 C.J: "Ah sh*t, here we go again." 😂
50:18 The article got it wrong. Blade was R-rated for all three movies.
There is no Ryan Reynolds Deadpool without blade 3
Steve Rogers will always be central to the MCU. He just won't always be played by Chris Evans.
I love how many times John goes 3 minutes with a muted mic when he's producing the show 🤣
Spider-Noir... if it's good it's like Sin City, if it's bad it's like The Spirit. 🤣
I feel like it might end up being somewhere between the two lol
It would be so crazy to think 🤔 that when Cap sat on that bench and gave Falcon the shield that Cap had already seen and been thru both Doomsday and Secret Wars as old man Steve! Insane!
Blade 2 and 3 never dropped to pg-13 , they were R rated.
John sip on honey green tea…hope it helps :)

@46:49, never mind. Dude, on mute? Seriously? LOL

I was gonna say the same thing. Weird.
Mando can't be worse than Rise of Skywalker.
I wouldn't challenge them on that 😂
hyped about Noir. Spidey as a mob boss? cool. Love the Hue and BW trailer release
i’d go even further and say there would not be a james gunn (in the way that we know him now) if it weren’t for kevin feige
1:13:12 yep. Just like Michael Jackson’s biopic. Will be distributed by Lionsgate in the U.S. Will release internationally by Universal.
Thanks
1:04:23 Superchats start here
I have no idea how you actually sat through PUNISHER WAR ZONE lol. That is one of the few movies I've ever actually walked out of
That last submission about Gunn & Feige wasn't just an overreaction, it's an impossibility. Period. End of story. Fade to black.
Don’t fans already say Star Wars is ruined forever?
It is!!
On first watch, I thought Age of Ultron was ok. Didn't hate it but I went in with low expectations.
2nd watch, didn't even finish it. Thought it was boring.
3rd watch (after Endgame) pretty good.

For me it's totally different.I loved it more with every time I saw it.
Does John need a new mic?
He's had a cough for a couple weeks and he puts himself on mute so we don't hear it. Sometimes he forgets to unmute himself.
I am curious what happened to old man Steve?
We learn. John has alluded that we dont just learn about him going in the past. But the future as well.
@Magdalena8008s I get that, but I am asking what is old man Steve doing in the current MCU drama…like is he just standing around not doing anything? Will the old Steve help alongside this young Steve?
Age of Ultron is miles better than Thunderbolts
As much as I love age of ultron. You’re crazy it’s not miles better
Personally I like thunderbolts more
Definitely is the scale of it, the moments and the villain.
Great show as always john

It's insane that I live in a timeline where I'm more excited for a spiderman noir series than I am for any upcoming dc/mcu and star wars projects
Hmm, I'm way more excited for Lanterns tbh
Really? Doomsday, brand new day, lanterns and Clayface are on the horizon, I’m stoked!
Personally I'm excited for all of it. Comic fans are eating good this year 💯
