Sure we didn't get playable elites, BUT, these armor sets are SO GOOD!! They captured the elites look masterfully!! I also love the idea of more spartans looking more hybrid, mixed with humanity's new allies 🥰
Spartans who betrayed the UNSC, and joined the Elites. That would be an interesting story. A fish out of water story. Of a Spartan trying to prove his/or her worth to the Elites. An outcast to the Elites, who slowly wins the approval of the Ship Master. Through his/her journey, no Elites talk to him/her, except on Grunt. The Grunt is the lowest ranked soldier, who all the Elites make fun of, play pranks on, etc. That Grunt introduces the Outcasted Spartan to his family. Saying how the humans k***lled his family, and swears he’ll get his revenge, but he’s struggling with his inherited cowardice. Lol, anyway. A story idea for ya.

If playable elites are a problem game balance wise, then they could just make a casual playlist.

The elites are allies with the UNSC...some of them joined the faction we fight in Infinite but they are not all the bad guys
It’s really goofy that the leg armor is only one one side. They’ve shown the ability to do both with other pieces. Why not this one?
