The +10% whirlwind damage there is just from awakening that slot. You don't ever NEED to put more gems inside your rank10 for the resonance, that just allows you to get slightly more total resonance on your max rank gem. What Echo completely skipped over here are the "socketed bonuses" listed on the bottom left side when looking at the gem resonance. For berserkers eye, if you reach a total of 10 extra resonance from the socketed gems (could be rank5 everlasting torment and rank5 mocking laughter, or just rank10 everlasting, just need a total of 10), he would receive that first bonus of "primary attack damage increased by 3%". If he has a rank10 everlasting and rank10 mocking laughter (for a total of 20), he'll also have the "skill damage increased by 2%" bonus active. 2 star gems have 3 of these extra bonuses, 5 stars have 5.

If u don't care about PvP then don't spend money at all. If u care about PvP then go all out. None of the gems are worth paying for. Just play and rank what u have. Having 1.5k reso is enough for the occasional battlegrounds if u know how to play it out. Getting to 2.5 or 3k paid reso will match u up agasint 4k-6k players regularly so just enjoy your experience free

For low spenders, its better to use 1 or/and 2 stars gems. Not just easy to upgrade, you can also awakening early and easily.

@@blueice3144 300 is from rank 10 and 50 extra from Gem Resonanse. It requires 2 rank 10 (2 Star) gems and 1 (1 Star) rank 10 gem.

The higher the resonance the higher attributes percentage.
