the radius of the curve is still too tight for a high speed run, even with banked curves it can still derail a train. Maybe tilting trains could minimize the risk of derailment (And avoid increasing weight on the top)
@@thenetheriteminecartzactnm That may require a lot more programming... Im sure it is possible since they have active tilting technology for HSTs but im not sure if Lego can replicate that.
@@DavidRGD I guess the maximum you would get is double the speed by adding 2x the amount of motors and battery boxes but you would need R56 curves at least for such speeds, but that still doesn't seem like high enough speeds that you would need tilting, but I can imagine tilting lego trains would be very technic intensive and may not have a great interior. I'm not interested in tilting trains anyways.
1:29 i like how the high speed train barely misses colliding with the slow commuter train buy a inch and when the santa fe train hits it and derails also at 2:09 the curve is way too tight for a record beating lego train in my opinon
Merci cordialement, Johan.
#LEGO really needs to upgrade their train motors, rails, and more electrical components. Battery requirements are too excessive. #LEGO needs to return to direct electric rail contacts though #LEGO could minimize electric shock risks by making electrical flow via external physical contacts not exceed 1A while shielded and internal components can exceed 1 A as necessary.
so basically a 3rd rail mechanism? I think that would be kind of cool but a bit pricey. At least the price would make up in the future since it won't need batteries.
Merci cordialement, Johan.
So amazing! Great buildings, famous rail system. :)
whould like to know where to buy those tracks hahaha.^^ awesome tho
02:02 not 60051 the white train with big red line is the 7897. The 60051 has a dark bluish gray 6x24 plate with little red line.
I like it very much. And will follow you forever
RIP 9v motors 😭
0:48 good thing that clear guard was there lol
that kid would have been dead if the train was going that fast
2:11 that poor road switcher train was just chillin and this dood comes out of nowhere and ruins his day
Holy smokes!! how are these Trains so fast.. are these custom or what?
Was the train at 00:51 Taiwan High Speed Rail?
Amazing.
Schöne Welt gut Aufnahme 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😊

That speed is bonkers!!!!

@@cdhdfr merci beaucoup. Super réalisation en tous cas bravo
very cool, love the trains

Were is this exibition
Would love to see an onboard camera
Where are you??

poor cargo train
Just wants to do his job and gets hit by speeding passenger trains^^
WHERE DO YOU BUY THAT MOTOR
It is a retired product from lego, you can buy them used on eBay

Lego thinks Trains are stupid and nobody is playing with Trains.....

The 60051 is actually 7397
Yes you are right
I want to see that tgv in action
how to fast?
2:03 that is not 60051 that is 7897 or 7897-1
2:15 that train isn't 60051 it is 7897
Also Dan Sto is great models
its not easy to do
wow
