Berlin you should look into House of Leaves. Amazing "avant-garde" horror novel that tells two stories at once. One is about the decline of a man putting together found bits of paper that tell a story, and the other part is the found story "being told". I don't care for horror and it was the scariest book I've ever read.
This game reminds me of House of Leaves. The obsession to keep looking through the found media, the eeriness, the tension. So good.
