@@AllStar_Savage I always thought he punches Cortex out of anger cuz he just stands there and lets him get hit by the bazooka, but yeah the other explanation makes more sense
I still love this game despite all its flaws. It had an amazing voice cast overall. Especially with the elemental masks. Also the last game Clancy Brown voiced Dr Neo Cortex and Uka Uka in a mainline game. Unless you count crash nitro kart of course.
I had a PS2 since before I was born. I got The Wrath of Cortex for my 18th birthday and played it one time, genuinely enjoyed it. Got to the final warp room then had to leave. Came back, PS2 wouldn't turn on whatsoever for anything. The Wrath of Cortex killed my PS2.
While I really disliked breaking boxes for the gem in the jeep levels, I really hated it with that Coco skate level, the 30th level with like 100 boxes, god damn that shit sucked
I just started to watch the video, and already agree with your point about the characters' design. The original trilogy for PS1 managed to look and sound absolutely gorgeous, and then the first thing we get for the next generation console looks like they didn't even try.
Right! Naughty dog knew how to take full advantage of what the ps1 could do, but comparing the graphics in this to something like Ratchet and Clank on the ps2 shows how far they missed the mark.
I think that when Crunch is hit by Crash's bazooka, it briefly breaks him out of Cortex's mind control.
Yea, I guess that makes sense, but it is definitely confusing on a first playthrough until you see that ending cutscene.
@@AllStar_Savage Yeah.

I can definitely see how that level could be frustrating, but I managed to get in just a couple tries so I didn’t hate it yet
