Ngl I just heard about you from yesterday I saw your vid reacting to Kai beat Elden ring and after watching more of your vids u actually made me want to give Elden ring a try I never really tried it because of seeing how hard it is even tho it looks fun but ima give it a try
i think ds3 is a better game to start with because its easier (still very hard) I started with elden ring and then got frustrated near end game and then came back after beating ds3 and enjoyed it a lot more
I have a base ng character to try everything, then go into ng+ with probably a Messmer cosplay, and a separate ng+ character to test spells and stuff out
Oh I've always been a fan of min-maxing soulsborne games but this time I'd prefer to get in their with as low or mediocre damage as possible, I want to revel in the complexity of these boss fights that were expertly crafted if only for a moment longer.
I have been using this exact build with raptor armor for jump damage. It's an amazing build. I'm on ng+1 and so far beat Radahn within a minute and a half. I'm at lvl 180 though. However, it does struggle a bit to beat gargoyles since it does slash damage. I don't use any buffs so if you use flame grant me strength, golden vow etc, I'm pretty sure damage will be higher.
Honestly super strong builds using niche equipment meant for one shot of bosses is cool dawg but nobody ever makes a build for every day exploration or dungeon crawling when surrounded by pain in the ass hard hitting enemies, I already know how to dismantle strong bosses dude that shit is tired asf & WAAAAY old news. Show us a versatile build to use in AND out of boss fights. Thanks homie 🤘
That build with wing of astel is batsh!t crazy wtf. Adding Greatblade Phalanx and adula's moonblade took care of enemies with smaller hit boxes for me. Do you plan on making any early game builds, I'm thinking of taking a fresh character into the dlc
Most likely I'm going in with my Ng+7 Malenia build first. It's not optimized, I just wanted to make it game and lore accurate, and because of the talismans it wasn't complete until NG+3 so I just kept going. All Malenia's gear, erd tree seal, a cestus w/parry (she parries you bare handed during the fight) 99 vigor, mind and endurance, 94 dex, 20 str, 50 faith, 10 arcane. Talismans are rotten wing sword, millicent's prosthetic, taker's cameo, and godskin swaddling. For boss fights I swap out the cameo for alexander's shard. Once I'm done twisting my balls in the NG7 vice, I'll chillout and blast my second playthrough with the Dragon Lord build you showcased forever ago. Hands down the most fun way to delete a boss.
Thanks for the vid. I'm gonna do a new playthrough when DLC drops, havent played since the first week when Elden Ring came out and I finished the game. These builds all look really good but look kinda advanced with buffs management and consumables, or gimmicky playstyles. I'm wondering what good and simple builds one could use from early game to endgame that are flexible and don't require having to juggle too much consumable and buffs (having to cast one prebuff before fighting is fine of course, I just dont wanna deal with having to juggle like 3-4 different buffs and i'm literally allergic to using consumables. The one I like the most from this list is definitely the Blackflame one but im not sure how easy it is to get into if I'm starting the game from scratch.
For my build in SoTE its a samurai build using in R-hand a flame art unsheathe nagakiba, a flame art spinnig slash nagakiba, and the black bow with fire arrows and sleep arrows, in my L-hand i use a seal for flame grant me strength, and golden vow, using altered ronin chest, okina mask, and bloodhound gauntlets and greaves, talismans are shard of alexander, fire scorpion charm, ritual sword talisman, and dragoncrest greatshield talisman, my wondrous physick is flame-shrouding cracked tear, and the stonebarb craced tear. Im level 279, hoping this build will work out for me, on my 5th journey and changed my build so many times i can't count lol wish the 21st would hurry up and get here already, maybe some input to make this build better

9:37. Can someone elaborate on “reset frost proc…”. I know the invisible frost and bleed proc bars increase each time you proc it on a boss. So when he says “resets” it does he mean that he is going back to the shortest intital bar ?
frostbite procs and deals damage like bleed. but bleed automatically resets frostbite doesnt. it lasts for 30 seconds which means you cant proc frostbite until you wait for the frost to expire. but if you hit them with FIRE like my frenzied burst spell or takers flames fire damage resets it instantly and allows you to apply frostbite ASAP

Needs more love like holy shit I always see RUclipsrs who have something that says “Top 10 most op builds of all time!!” Or some dumb shit and always showcase their builds on some weak ass first playthrough enemy for example agheel yes THAT agheel from the beginning of the game…. I’m definitely taking either a lightning build or str/arc build with utilizes consecutive attacks with Marais Ex Sword, Thorny cracked tear, magic cracked tear, rotten winged insignia, Millicents prosthesis, Godfrey icon which will put out like 12-15k dmg from 1 AoW cast (fully charged) the build also uses Flame Grant Me Strength and GV
May i ask a secondary weapon that works well with the Star Fist? maybe with longer range to swap when needed? Also, is worth putting some faith to have Flame give me Strenght? thank you and amazing vid!

the ancient dragon's lighting strike is still the highest dps build on ng+7 you can still one shot 90% of the bosses and two shot the other 10% (yes including Malenia)
Lol, at level 330 is no longer a build, its op god mode. That is basically cheating at this point. Pick any two stats max them two 80, those Re you damage, put vigor to 60-65, put endurance to 25 at least, and whatever u need it mind. Rest of the points should go to damage stats to get them to 99, but how is playing like this fun, you basically 4-5 hit every boss. What's the point?
I need help coming up with build for dlc, I like wing of astel, but can’t get a cool armor combo together that fits weapon, same with great stars. I love Elenoras poleblade but don’t want a bleed build. I like the gargoyles black blade, great stars, sword of NaF, ordovis’s sword, I do wanna try regular gargoyles sword (is it any good for infusable great swords?) I think i beat the game 4 times . I have the platinum trophy . Im lvl 400 so most of your builds i can just use with my one character . I just cant be a tank or super heavy weapon user like that hammer , my strength only like 25 lol
I’m super confused why you’re using godslayer instead of dragon communion. Did they nerf dragon communion? I remember all of the other ones being useless
60 vig/30 dex/80 arcane reduvia bleed build is still my go to and easy game mode build. It just isn’t fair and is by far the easiest to gear as weapon is by starting area and a npc kills the invader for you. Kill the big dragon with gold foot and level arcane to 30 and you 4-5 hit everything for the first 1/3 of the game. By the time your done with that your level 70-80 and have 40 vigor and 60 arcane and are 3-4 shotting middle section of the game. By the time you’re done with that you are level 130-150 and your 60 vigor/30dex and 80 Arcane and then you can finish the game on easy mode. Only hard boss is of course Melania as she is a bitch and cheats and is resistant to bleed but still isn’t too bad
so you think the keyboard & mouse is your ally ? nahh fr u gotta try keybaord only. I beat ds1, ds3 and im ready to drop in the dlc with no mouse. Basically you use the 'i j k l' keys for moving camera, 'o' for locking in and then 'h u' for light and heavy attacks
Syrobe, fortissax has a 80% resistance to lightning damage, however in that fight he is in water, making his resistance actually 70% most of the time. Just something to point out.

For Paladin, you can use Flame Art or Godslayer’s GS against holy resistant enemies.
Starting a faith build and now I cant decide between the BFT is weird Glaive build or the BB Faith Fire build, they both look really fun

A good armor combo I can recommend for Wing of Astel would be Fingerprint helm, black knife chestpiece , fire prelate gloves and legs

Put the "Cragblade" ash of war on and it will prompt you to pick an element, which will be bleed. :)
