    Thank you for your service. This has to be the best cross i seen made with paracord. Most the sides are loose and never fully attached to the middle. Thank You again for making this video. God Bless

    Thank you, very good instructions and easy to follow. I used 550 cord, but I think I might try a smaller paracord, the 550 did not come out as neat. Also, not as flexible to wear as a necklace, the cross kind of hangs sideways. Love the clamp idea, could you show a video on how you made that?

    • @mrbillsparacordcross6103
      @mrbillsparacordcross6103  7 лет назад +4

      This is the clamp I use: ruclips.net/video/8ospIyoAn-4/видео.html
      You can also use a foam macrame board with pins. When the knot is tied correctly all of the force is to the sides and are balanced. So, the force at the holding area is small. The clamp and pins are used to prevent the necklace loop from slipping when tying the second knot and to hold the two halves in place when forming the cross arms.
      Check out some of the color combinations I've used for different organizations: ruclips.net/video/qtvUNeaCa5I/видео.html

    Hello, I'm brand new to your Channel. I want to make a pet memorial for the side of the road. I thought using paracord that I've worked with before would be great because it would withstand the elements. Have you made anything that you could suggest I use in this capacity? I was thinking I could bend a simple cross frame from metal, and then use paracord over it. Any suggestions would be awesome ️ ❤️

    A quick question. Is the cord you use in this video 550 paracord? I've been attempting to follow along but my results end up not being nearly as large as yours. I'm not sure if I'm just pulling everything down to tight or something else.

      550 with the strands. I’ve found melting the ends, so the inner strands cannot slide out, makes a more consistent knot.

      É chamado de 550 cordas de pára-quedas, ou paracord. Recebo o meu da loja Paracord na internet. Seu link é www.theparacordstore.com/550-paracord.html. Certifique-se de ter sete cordas dentro dela. Este tipo faz um nó melhor. Eu também usei 90 paracord com uma corda dentro para fazer uma cruz menor. Eu espero que isso ajude.

      Hello Chrissie2404 to just make the cross I use 24 inches or 60.96 cm for the top (three snake knots) and one side and then 30 inches or 76.2 cm (using six snake knots) for the bottom and the other side. (one inch = 2.54 centimeters. ....Freedom is not free....

    • @mrbillsparacordcross6103

      Great! Except for tying the second knot for th top of the cross the clamp just holds things in place. I've accomplished he same thing with a heavy book.
      As for the second knot I spoke of earlier. When tightening it the necklace loop will slip. I've taken a straight pin and put it through the necklace cord, just above the first knot, to allow me to properly tighten the second knot.

    Manda a metragem das cordas em portugues obrigado

    • @mrbillsparacordcross6103
      @mrbillsparacordcross6103  7 лет назад +1

      Eu não falo português, mas aqui está uma tradução do Google do que está na descrição:
      Eu deveria ter percebido que meu público pode usar medições métricas. Por favor me perdoe.
      Para fazer a cruz sem o loop do colar, para levar no bolso ou colocar um chaveiro, use quatro cordões de 18 cm ou 46 cm.
      Para adicionar o loop de colar adicione 32 in, ou 82 cm, a um dos cabos de 18 cm (46 cm) para um comprimento total de 128 cm. Dobre-o pela metade e aperte a 9 em (23 cm) das extremidades.
      Nota: Arredondado na conversão para o cm. É por isso que há um cm extra na conversão de 50.
      Eu espero que isso ajude.
