As a mixed kid i very much respect this. My mother is white and my father is black, yet i never seemed to fit in. Also from colorado, i was either too white or too black depending on who i was around.

I myself have been asked if their adopted. We are a typical American family where color is never questioned ... I'am a proud Grandpa raising two beautiful children ... we are all American
Only one person in the scenario was prompted by other children to 'play' slave. Bullying is learned and so is racism. One often ends when a person matures from childhood to adulthood the other often doesn't. I appreciate how the teacher handled it responsibly.

Douglas county is a privileged county. I lived there with my Latino family. The kids and adults there are very out of touch with diversity.
Why is that a bad thing? Some people just want to be amongst their own kind and not feel forced to be inclusive.
