China is such a wonderful country. I visited it a couple of years back during my gap year and it was the best decision ever! The people there are so warm, the culture is amazing and the Chinese cuisine, do I need to even say more, it's incredible. I will definitely return and stay for a longer period of time, might even consider working there if possible!
Your videos made me change my view about China.. Just one question why in western countries talk soo bad about china being a comunist country and controlling people like sheeps.. I watch your videos i see joy, development and balance with nature.. I see education, clean streets, i see and feel respect.. Very strange all this midia manipulation.. For what?
Western governments control the media and it is politically correct to slam China. Because the success of the West over the past few hundred years has slowly declined, they are afraid of being surpassed, and they are afraid that China, an ancient civilization, will surpass them, and another political system will surpass what they call democracy and freedom.
Western media have been smearing China for a very long time and giving misleading information about China hence you see the yellow peril or about Russia and the red army. Noticed western movies depicting communist as the evil force while America is the savior of the world? They have all the tools for misinformation and used it very effectively and it works on people who never question anything. Brainwashing by the west works very well indeed. I used to look up to America but after knowing the actual truth of what America is, I really hate the US government. They war for blood profits that their people don't benefit from it but the top 1%

There exists a great deal of history in China. So much so that tourist excursions could be held in many cities and places of warring factions in the past that determined the unification of all of the provinces (Qin Dynasty maybe? if I remember correctly). One of my favourite fact of China though is that the Great Wall of China is the only man made structure that can be seen by the naked eye from the moon. An amazing creation.

40C IS hot. Here in Malaysia it's around 35 and my home is about 25C without air conditioning. We're very near the equator and by right it should be hotter than Xian.
Well, that's certainly a lesson learnt, but not as bad as when I was visiting my friends in Chongqing during the mid summer. Never go to cities like Hangzhou, Xi'an, Wuhan, Fuzhou, Changsha and most importantly, Chongqing during summer because you'll regret it. When I was at Chongqing during the summer, I slept a whole day through only coming out at night 😂😂
i just went through 38C days and 35C nights in Hangzhou and i'm so happy for the invention of air conditioning units. Luckily i left before it got above 40C. When the wind blow and it's warmer than your skin temperature, you know it's bad.
I can't wait for a moment when China is open for tourism again... Such an amazing country, I could propably spend years there just discovering every part of it...
If you like history and culture, Xi'An is a great place to be, one of the oldest capital city in China with over 2000 years of history. Do avoid to be there in the mid of summer if you are not used to the heat, it can make you sick, April/May and Sep/Oct are the best season to visit.
In 40 degrees C (104 F) scorching heat, those entertainers in that kind of heavy costume must really feel it. Hope they will stay cool in the shade and drink lots of liquid. And you too, Jason.

Next time when you visit an historic site like this, make sure you dressed as ancient general so you can command the ancient soldier to fetch you a cold beer and an hamburger.
