Bob Lederer, Lifetime Activist Shares LGBTQ+ Experience

Born and raised near Washington, DC, Bob's family fled Nazi oppression and violence during World War II. Bob is no stranger to marginalization, but he says, "I didn't really start questioning the established order until college." He does, however, remember a speaker at his high school in 1971 that talked about Gay Lib - none other than Frank Kameny. Bob isa life-long activist and has been active in ACT UP for years.
