They probably saw that bleach fans were going crazy over the new wave of Ichigo pops and they saw that bleach pops still sell so they decided to bring the rest back
If they decide to do that then just stop vaulting pops all together at some point as a collector you gotta understand you can't have everything you want and you should save up or trade to get something older you're after
"Vaulted items are permanently retired and no longer in production, so they can’t be ordered. Once an item goes into the vault, it does not come back out. I knew I read this somewhere. If this wasn’t THEIR OWN WORDS I’d be somewhat ok with it. Vaulted doesn’t mean gone forever unless you state it’s gone forever. Pretty trashy of them and I’d probably sell a few items simply based on these events
@@psychoticsickhypnotic But they are pricing them at what a collector will pay.. We are paying for that pop being Vaulted hence the price now if they unvault it market price will drop... So they are manipulating the market value..
I think this is exactly why people would stop collecting, funko unvaulting pops that people spends whole paychecks on gets very frustrating overtime. Plus, this just means that it can happen to any vaulted pop at any time. It’s only a matter of time before more people get fed up with reoccurring unvaultings.

They can stay mad, theyre only mad more people have the figure now. As he said, the original stickers and printing date make it the OGs and retain value.
@@chrono6112 i don't get it. What's fun for charging someone $500 for a pop but getting mad that restocks are happening and people would get them for more fair prices? And like skittle said, your original sticker would maintain a higher price still so I still don't get the issue.
@@josephvillegas7648 that is so true especially with original still and original manufacturer date cause they do ad the date when it was made. Some people just hate it cause the OG version will go down some but it's still gonna be expensive.
@G i kinda get what you're saying, but the thing. One can get mad because one paid a lot for a funko. But with funko everything is a gamble. Funko still needs to make money and it can make money doing this because of the hype. If funko makes money the hobby can keep on going. Maybe they will restock this pops maybe they won't. Personally I wouldn't pay 300-500 for a pop in my life. So I would benefit from this even if I had to pay 100 it would be fine. Life's a gamble, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose but when you lose other people win so fuck it man. Just enjoy the hobby and at least if that person bought the funko for a high price she or he still has the funko pop and an og at that. It's still high value.
I think this makes it so no one would really buy in on the hype of buying funkos period. Might as well make extra limited number pops too. Why even have a "vaulted" status on the app? Makes we not want to rush to get pops, especially since they can remake them whenever they want.
This is ONLY my opinion and thoughts, not stating that I am right or wrong. Some will agree and some will not. Apologies in advance for the lengthy comment/rant. I truly love Funko Pops and do not ever want to quit collecting them, but this one truly hurts knowing that it won't be the last time something like this happens. This is definitely a big blow for Funko Collectors. If you are truly a Funko collector, this is something that you should not be okay with and not let Funko continue to do. This move totally defeats the whole purpose of vaulting Funko Pops in the the first place. If Funko truly cares about their customers and collectors, they should not be unvaulting any Funko Pops, no matter how popular or high the demand is. Either keep the vault status or completely remove the vault status for all Funko Pops moving forward. This is clearly a financial move by Funko and nothing else. Yes, it is probably cheaper for Funko to use the same mold to produce, but that doesn't mean that they should. There are different ways that Funko could have gone about this. 1) They could have made new designs/variants of the same characters (Which they already did for Ichigo and Law, so I don't understand this move.) (Also, I understand that these Funko Pops are not as affordable in the secondary market, but if you are a collector and truly want the Funko pop, then save to buy/trade for it like everyone else. This is the whole purpose of being a collector in the first place). 2) There are so many other characters from Bleach and One Piece that Funko could have made, besides reproducing these same molds (Yes, no matter what I know that people are going to buy these pops when they get reproduced, but if the goal is to make revenue, this is the lazy way to go about it. Funko, you have your own design team, please use them and create new molds and characters!). If you read this far, hopefully, this helps you out. This was something that I wanted to get off my chest. Funko seems to be losing what made them unique in the first place, each and every time something like this happens, it saddens me, because I know one day, they will lose the interest of the fans and collectors. Funko, please listen to your fans and collectors that have made you successful from the beginning. Thank you to everyone for your time and reading this!
