I’ve seen people calling him a “niche support” and I really disagree. Obviously he’s BiS for Acheron and was made for her, and might not be BiS anywhere else but he’s still good in pretty much every team, since vulnerability is so universal. Like, he’s a good pickup if you have Acheron because, besides making her even more broken, he also works with so many other people. I’ve seen people compare him to characters like Shenhe, Faruzan, Yukong etc. in terms of nicheness and I just don’t agree with that. Just bc he’s not Ruan Mei/Robin levels of generalist, it doesn’t make him niche
I mean you're kinda contradicting yourself; he's either A or B; there's no in-between. Everywhere else where you wanna claim "he's good" he's not a direct upgrade from even the "f2p" or more accesible options. The reason to get him as off right now is Acheron, and that's about it. He's a direct upgrade in that team, and nothing else outside. I'd say just stop the coping to try and reason your pull for him, he's definitely good when it comes to acheron, that's about it.
I have him at e2s1, which gives him a strong position in both DoT and Acheron teams. I don't have Pela at e6 yet so Black Swan will likely take her spot till she's built up for Acheron Teams. Depending entirely on how well on BS works together with JQ. Jaio came home easily for me so I don't regret it a bit. That and with the 2.5 Banner you've pretty got availability on a full limited DOT Team, so we have the oppertunity to filling in whatever is missing. We're flooded with choices this season.

It's really tough for someone like me that's balancing pulling for FUA also with Feixiao and Robin who's ready to pull for them. E2S1 Acheron just does so well right now that's JQ is not a must pull.

On the matter of future proofing, it's probably not worth going horizontal investment than verticle with Achereon. Since there's no telling if we may get better supports for acheron in the future, in which case jiaoqiu will get replaced out and those stellar jades used will be wasted. Honestly the only guarenteed way to future proof units is to save for future units that significantly spike account power which i feel like they've intentionally left room for a charecter to be a better debuffing support. Granted if you like the charecter you should get it but just not for account investment reasons. (Jiaoqiu support capacity is only legitimised when a charecter who can fully use it is released, to get it early is a gamble)
Yup as an E2 jiaoqiu haver, he is. At E2 he deals the most DoT dmg rn (blackswan can catch up only with 20+ arcana). I also tried jiaoqiu with sustainless team and fully buff him with ruan mei, yukong and asta on PF he's almost autocleared it (team lacks ST dmg to finish off kafka)
Fr, actually I'm running E2 JQ and E1 Swan on the 4th slot with my E1 Acheron and E1 Robin, and oh boy. All of them now deal dmg compare to what I had before with Pela and SW which only do debuff and nothing more.
Now, I got Jiaoqiu, Aventurine and Pela for Acheron. Once I got her my second Endgame Team will be complete. But, that made me think for kind of Team I should go for next, just to have more than Firefly Break and Acheron. Like, Idk double Hypercarry with Jingliu and Blade with Ruan Mei and Loucha. Or DOT with Kafka, Black Swan, Huohuo and Robin. Since, I put Characters I want to pull for in 3 Categories of Priority. The first are Characters I want to get first which are Black Swan, Sparkle, Kafka, Acheron and Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae. The second one are Characters I might go for when i'm sure that I can get them no matter the Result if I pull with the 50-50, those are Fu Xuan, Robin, Blade, Jingliu and Lingsha. The third are Characters of which I think might be fun, but I'll go for them last, which are Jade, Boothill, Seele, Feixiao, Topaz (she seems to work insanely well with Feixiao) and Yunli. Now that might change with furure Characters that seem also good to have. So, any Suggestions for what Team I should go for next after my Acheron Team is complete?
I’ve been doing Jingliu x Blade since Jingliu came out and it’s really fun. I added in Ruan Mei when she first came out and makes that duo dps busted. I even use that set up as my second team for end game content. E1S2 Ruan Mei, E2S1 Blade, E0S0 Jingliu (using herta shop lc). And E6 Gallagher with HuoHuo LC. I was thinking of putting Yunli’s LC on Blade too for more agro.
As someone who neither has robin nor kafka/black swan. The result of them all being on one banner means i will probably pass them all. I think i will start saving my jade to bring my E0S1 Acheron to E2.

My opinion, if you want to constantly clear(brute force) one side of pf, moc and AS, get jiaoqiu for acheron. He just makes acheron T0 for all end game.... And thats busted.
I have e2 s1 Acheron and still pulled for e1s1 jiaoqiu because he makes her insanely op. I hit over 2.5mill on MOC12 with sparkle and robin/ruan mei (typically use ruan mei on my firefly team). I get several Ults off so quickly! He’s great for her however for other teams right now he may not be optimal. Who knows in the future though he could fit into another meta team!
i lost my 50/50 and finally got him the other day but unfortunately i dont have his lc or any of the 4* lc bc i started this acc before penacony started so i only have solitary healing :(
short answer is No if you want a fast clear get Jiaoqiu if you already have Silver wolf and Pela your set no need for Jiaoqiu. If you clear all content and MoC with Acheron comfortably then save your Jade for Feixiao. It seems I got people upset just pull who you wanna pull but for me i'm skipping I see him as just a extra buff for Acheron.......
@@YakuKikyo I’m not here to argue but the only reason to pull for Jiaoqiu is if you’re not pulling for Feixiao which you should LOL. If Feixiao wasn’t on the next banner I would pull for Jiaoqiu because I love my Acheron she’s my strongest character with all the right sub stats😂 but as of now I’m fine having to wait extra 2-3 cycles to ult I don’t mind it. She clears all content with no struggle.

I don't have Acheron E2, I don't have SW, I don't have Resolution Shine, I couldn't care less about Feixiao. Jiaoqiu s1 was taken immediately, it improved my account extremely
Hes worth it, my acheron went from doing 200k to 700k ults with him on my team. Sw is over rated and without her e1 she falls off in a lot of value, hes way better to get since he batterys her effectibely and also enables her to do a crap ton of damage. Please get him he is VERY GOOD

@@xxhsxxe 160 speed is most recommended, 134 can also work, I use the eagle set on him but you can use 2 piece diver with 2 piece dot, or 2 piece hackerspace with 2 piece dot or diver. Ehr is a main priority sub stat but it isnt much of a problem if you unlock his traces ( you need 120% ehr on him ) and have a light cone which provides him with ehr, speed boots are recommended and for plannar ornaments I find using vonwaq and broken keel to be good! You can also use the pan-cosmic ornament set if you find it hard to get 120% ehr on him but I don't think you'll find issues
You can but it's not that good. You want action advance if you're running harmony on Acherons team, so Sparkle/Robin mainly work best, Bronya works good too just gotta manage SP

in pure fiction my acheron went from 28000 points to easy 40000 just by switching silver wolf with fox boy.
