Kiara - I Dreamed a Dream (The Lion King II)

AU Storyline: Kovu left Kiara, destroying the dream she had of spending the rest of her life with him. Crushed by the death of her dream, she gives up on life and dies along with it.
So this song is from Les Miserables which I saw...5 days ago? I was so BLOWN AWAY by Anne Hathaways performance with this song I had to edit it. The storyline in this is loosely based off of the book/show/movie but kind of out of order. Just as Fantine died after she lost faith in her dream, Kiara did (but during this song instead of after). I also had Mufasa show up to bring Kiara to heaven like how Fantine brought Valjean (shut up, I didn't know how to end it). Any clips that seem out of place are there so you can interpret why Kovu left Kiara in the first place.
I had never seen any production of Les Mis before the movie (I know I suck, I'm hoping to see it on Broadway in its revival) but it was all around awesome. I hated how I had to pitch this, ugh.
This is one of my favorite things I've edited, I dunno, it just actually came out how I envisioned it and that never happens. Putting this together was a pain though since there were pretty limited clips that would work with it and I had to be smart for a 5 minute video. I don't think I've ever had to "plan out" a video so much before, it was an interesting way to do go about it though. At least I'm on break and actually have time to invest in a project like this for once!
