Took 11 years for me to get diagnosed due to our incompetent medical system here and there is an extreme lack of experiential data online. Thank you for these videos. They answered some questions about the process and expectations. I have surgery in about a month and I'm looking forward to feeling better.

Thinking of you as you heal. It is such an arduous road to get diagnosed for so many. Happy you got your answer. I’m sorry it is this. Sending you healing energy.

@@amywarner-lifecoach5846 Thank you! Surgery went okay and I'm 2 months post op now. My blood pressure is normal and I'm starting to feel much better as my hormones level out. Hope all is well, keep spreading the word about this under-diagnosed and easy to catch issue.

@@sallypickren4298 I feel so much better! I still get tired and have to watch what I do compared to someone with two adrenals but overall I am pretty healthy and typical! Sending you lots of strength and love, I know how hard this is to navigate. Feel free to email me if you ever want to ask anything. amy@purejoyhealing.co

This is an awesome video! I am going on week 9 post-op and still working on slowly tapering down my hydrocortisone. I have been dealing with the fatigue, dizziness, and all of the fun things. Patience and rest is the name of the game, which can be so tough. I think it will be a long road, but staying positive that it will get better with time.

I am sending you so much love on your journey. It will get better, patience and positivity help for sure. Most importantly being really gentle and kind to yourself helps. And really understanding how many spoons you have helps (look up spoon theory if you don’t know about it).

thank you for sharing. My wife is being treated with the drug korlym. The diagnosis took 30 years. Don't believe your doctor if you are diagnosed with depression or heart afib or even glaucoma. Cushing is most likely the root cause. Get tested for celiac, gluten intolerance, mthfr gene mutation and cushing. My wife is on at least a 1-3 year road to recovery

I had my surgery seven weeks ago. My cortisol level is still a one. They have me on 10 mg of prednisone. My blood pressure is slightly better. No weight loss yet. Do you remember how long it took? How long did it take for your cortisol levels to increase? My chief complaint is that when I start sweating, I sweat profusely. Also, I sometimes feel the need to do a full body stretch and contract all my muscles at the same time. Not sure if that’s muscle weakness. I have not felt extreme fatigue, but I can definitely sleep longer on the weekends. Does all this sound pretty normal to you? Sometimes I also feel like my head is “full “. Any thoughts? I had no pain after the surgery. All of that has been fine. I am already back to exercising.

Sorry I am just seeing this, It sounds like you are doing really well! It took me 18 months to get off steroids completely, it took me about 6 months to start losing any weight and unfortunately I still have not lost it all. Everyone is so different with both of those things though. I would say all of your symptoms are what I and others I spoke to have felt. It sounds like you are on the right track. Feel free to email me if anything else comes up I can help with. amy@purejoyhealing.co

Do you recall in the first week post operation, having to take shallow breaths due to abdominal pain? And did you have any shoulder pain from the gas they used to inflate your stomach?
