Very nice trip. I'm sure you and your family enjoyed that. Seeing the river most of the trip was a bonus. We are fortunate to have a steam engine near by that makes several trips a year to our small city as there is a turnaround table here that is something to watch. We have made the train journey several times and it's always enjoyable.

That’s awesome! We have a few diesel trains to ride around here but no steamers unfortunately. Yeah when I bought tickets I looked at the track route on Google maps first and made the decision to be on the front right side to begin the trip. It was definitely the right call. We stood up for all the beautiful stuff and then sat and relaxed most of the way back to just enjoy the ride.

Awesome video Rob! That trian ride looked absolutely beautiful. That camera really highlighted the clouds and the scenery. Great shooting!

Thanks man! It did well. I shot in 1080p/30 to save space on the card and battery. If I had the ability for 4k on this channel It could have unbelievable!

A ride at the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad on their Cascade Canyon Express pulled by Durango & Silverton 480 (A.K.A Denver & Rio Grande Western 480, built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1925).
