I like how in German you can basically say that something is from ''zauberland'' (magic land) and then you do not need to explain anything else, like in English you would have to state from where exactly the Fichtl was, either from Middle Earth or the Land of Knights who say Ni, Narnia etc. Ok you have Alice in Wonderland, but that is Wonderland, the land of wonders... not just some place of unspecified ''magic''. In German you can just handwave all that saying ''he is from zauberland'', case closed and everyone will be ok with that :D
