Hello, I have a SATLINK WS 9080, I tried to update the program with the help of a memory stick on which I put an update, navi_s_326su.img.bin and navi_s_326su.img.ssu, it ran more of the program, the memory stick finding the problem didn't work and the SAT FINDER doesn't work either. What can I do, how can I rewrite the Satfinder's memory?

My USB stick failed causing my flash process to fail after the erasing step. Now my Satlink WS-6932 will not boot. It only says tp error. Is there anyway to fix this?

Regarding your question, let me share with you some info based on our knowledge.
// a) First. note that some older version of SATLINK WS-6980 is not compatible with currently the newest version, due to several changes on hardware design, according to introduction of SATLINK manufacturer. Sure, if the WS-6980 meter can work in your current use, then we assume that there exists no necessity to update it.
// b) Second. If newer version of firmware is demanded from us and the meter is not directly sourced from our company, then we will have to charge certain fee. Instead, if the meter is directly sourced from our company, then naturally it will be for free.
// c) For perhaps more detailed info, you can reach our colleague Alexander, if you are interested.

@@tommasofanelli2894 ciao, non so se mi leggi, ho il WS6979 che presenta lo stesso problema del 6980: ovvero, se è uno dei primi, sembra sia cambiato l'hardware per supportare (giustamente) il decoding del maledetto HEVC previsto in italia.
Ho chiesto alla SatLink e mi hanno risposto da subito che c'è stato un aggiornamento hardware, purtroppo vanno sempre di fretta e le email le scrivono di 42 parole totali -_-'
Risultato: la versione hardware del mio WS6979 è del 2014 (e mi ha risolto taaanti cazzi negli anni, per cui già sono più che felice) dovrebbe essere tagliata fuori dalla possibilità di lettura HEVC...
Inoltre in Sat Link i firmware sono GRATIS: sono sti testadecazzo de venditori che rubano soldi pure su quello!

Yet, we will suggest that you'd better leave some partner courier's delivery location in United States, or in United Kingdom, if possible. Why? There could exist quite a lot of uncertainty/ obstacle when bearing shipments directly from China to Ghana. I mean it.

Hmm I insert the USB but when I click on upgrade it says "Device is not available" :(
Check whether the USB device was a valid one, or whether the connection is inserted nicely into the port.
Actually I tried another USB and it works but when I enter the folder it says no file, like he's not reading any files inside, yet there are 2 bin files inside !
@@mandingo3597 If you have the file, namely the .bin file (firmware file), naturally you can just directly store it on the root directory. No needs to store it under some folder.
Hmm, I have 2 folders one says for older model before 2019, and other is for 2019 and onwards, inside older models there is also a .ssu file that does get recognized, but in the other folder for 2019 and newer builds there is no .ssu file.
I think my version is 2019 model
@@mandingo3597 .ssu file is some older version of WS-6980 meter. As to newer version, it embraces .bin file.

@@alessiopollero498 Currently, the newest version seems to be v3.9. Sure, if it is some very old version of SATLINK WS-6980 that was used, I'm afraid that it will not be compatible with currently the newest version.
If the meter is not sourced from our company, yes, we will have charge a bit when newer version of firmware is demanded from us.

As far as I know, currently the latest version of firmware that is offered by SATLINK is V4.5. Sure, there exists no such website that offers update of firmware file. As to us, standing as close partner of SATLINK manufacturer for over 10 days, we will ask their staff to offer when newer updated version comes out. It's simply as above. Regards.

You can check the version of your firmware that is now installed, under Version of System settings. Sure, some older version is not compatible to currently the new version, namely they cannot be upgraded to the new version, if it happens.
