      I am not gonna agree with this he can't those positions he just can't guard certain players from that positions the stronger ones iam saying and sometimes other than that centers he is doing really well with them from PGs he can guardd everyone except when he was in OKC he couldn't guard Steph Curry as you can see steph was owning ISO on Durant but that Steph was different that was clearly that season not playoffs he was especailly really good with anyone.

  • @Subash0069
    @Subash0069 7 лет назад +552

    Whether you believe it or not, KD has always been this good. It was just that in OKC he was playing in an ISO heavy offense, with a guard who wasn't that good offensively without the ball. Also, KD barely had to play around the rim to maximise his length, and shot blocking ability due to the presence of Ibaka, Adams, and Kanter.

    In a way, I cant blame KD for going to the Warriors. Yeah it looks like a bitch move, but look how happy KD is playing with the Warriors. He's taking less shot since he's not playing a lot of iso anymore like he did with the Thunders. While I do like Westbrook, he wasnt the right fit with KD in terms of their playing style, while a team like GS were one of the best teams in term of passing around.

    • @Ladventures
      @Ladventures 7 лет назад +20

      Yeah if he wants to be seen as a snake and hypocrite, I don't think we can blame him, he can do what he wants. But as far as the league is concerned, this warriors team has ruined the competition in the league. Cabs are going to have to become more stacked, maybe the spurs will too. It's getting to the point that great teams like the rockets and celtics might as well tank. Teams are supposed to build chemistry to get better, but now you need new players do that and even the Cavs don't have a good enough set of players to beat the warriors. Durant can ring chase all he wants, good for him, but it's the league as a whole that is going to get even worse

    • @kyoungt14
      @kyoungt14 7 лет назад +37

      Kyrylo Perevozchykov The thing I dont get is how peopl e are hypocritical about KDs decision. They complain about how Kd is ruining tje league, but yet they justified what Lebron did back in 2010. If you have a such a problem with it, stop bitching about how the league is ruined, and force Adam Silver to adjust to league to not let this happen again.

    • @ThePrufessa
      @ThePrufessa 7 лет назад

      Kyrylo Perevozchykov you are correct in one sense. it's not like they hijacked a bunch of players like Boston and Miami did. they only added one superstar from the pool. that's very true and I haven't thought of it that way.
      but...
      they definitely have ruined the competition in a sense that NOBODY can beat this team. next season they'll break 73 wins without even trying.

      Yis Medina I dont have a problem with Either doing what for their decision. The NBA is a player's league, so if the fans want it different, in terms as competition they have they determine that with how the rating is for the NBA, and this finals is one of the highest rated in recent time so far.

      The facts are:
      Oakland is the worst City in the US
      KD is a very talented yet very immature. Because of his genetic makeup he can up and out of a difficult situation unlike this new thing called everyone else in the real world.
      His number will hang one day but where will it hang?
      Even though it will hang he won't have a story career worth telling. where's the build up? He didn't resist temptation like Duncan did when Orlando tried to get him. It's all cruise control for him.
      There are too many egos on that one team.
      He'll take his money and probably his one good knee (by that time) to New Orleans or York.
      Curry is not humble.... Curry isn't even close
      like
      at
      all
      He nearly wanks himself into blindness when he makes a shot.
      Zaza should be doing shock bum fights with Kreiger. Or loading trucks at a shady Best Western
      Green looks like a catfish
      Yes they are insanely talented... but I would take Jonathan Simmons over all of these fools. He plays for something more than himself.

    When he unlocked his defensive potential last year against the warriors in the conference finals I knew the league was fucked. It was one of the main reasons OKC we're up 3-1. You can talk about him choking all you want but the main reason OKC were dominating the warriors in the first place was because of him. He is going to get what he want this year and the next few years. I can actually see his legacy almost toe to toe with LeBron by the time he is done. I'm not trying to go bandwagon but he is one of the best two way players I've ever seen. Go KD and Go nuggets.

    this entire series was unfair. like what can you do when the whole starting team has over 50% in shooting beyond the 3 point line. can take a seat and there bench will run you out the building tiring you out just so the starters can come back rested and finish you off. I'm happy the warriors won but I feel bad for the cavs. they had no answer. even the refs gave up

      Nathan Murdoch OKC was one of the best team... A Spurs killer in playoffs... Injuries beat them and gave way to the Warriors skipping Spurs and OKC in 2015 playoffs, then 2016 OKC almost beat them if not for Klay going nuclear... Warriors would be irrelevant if OKC stayed healthy, they won't get past Spurs and OKC...

    I will repeat my comment from the series preview: "Excellent analysis coach! The two best players in basketball. People are underrating Durant with some dumb logic that goes: If LeBron is close to Jordan, and we're not ready to say Durant is close to Jordan, then Durant can't be close to LeBron, but he IS. If the warriors win two with him (which doesn't change his ability in the slightest) everyone will say he's the all time player that he already is."

  • @RondoStyle9
    @RondoStyle9 7 лет назад +174

    Why Kevin Durant is great?
    Because the second best player in the world went to a 73 win team that had the back to back MVP, and two other players make ALL-NBA before even adding him to the mix.
    So now, instead of KD having to do everything, he is a cog in the machine. He can catch-shoot, get mad transition buckets, and play hard on defense knowing that if he slips up, he's got a DPOY candidate in Draymond and a Finals MVP in Iggy ready to spell him at any time.
    They were OP before, but this is why everyone hates KD. He was supposed to be the one to take them out, not join them 3 weeks after blowing a 3-1 lead to them.
    I mean, look at what happened yesterday in Game 2. LeBron shot 12-18, had 29, 14, 11 on 67% shooting and the Cavs got blown out. Kevin Love had one of his best, efficient games of the season and they still got run out of the gym. The Warriors just have too much firepower. KD can do whatever, pick his spots and they will still win.

      Not really, KD and LBJ have always basically evened each other out in recent years, with LeBron getting a slight edge. This Finals, It's the same exact thing, they've cancelled each other out, except KD is winning and he's got 3 other all stars playing at a high level to back him up while LeBron's team is struggling.

Now on the biggest stage in basketball, KD is unleashing his entire arsenal for the world to see. Had he remained in OKC, the world may have never actually gotten to see KD's full potential. I hope that he continues to light up LeBron and the Cavs. Warriors in 5, but I won't be surprised if Warriors sweep Cavs.

    "Without too much discussion about the way he did it, let's look at the effects of his decision.
    "As soon as he announced his decision, he forfeited ever being considered the greatest player of all time. It has been proven that he can't beat the best with his own team, so he decided it would be a good idea to go and make his own "dream team" so that he and company can beat the best.
    Why didn't Jordan, Bird and Magic all just join the same team and wreak havoc on the league?
    Because they were competitors.
    That is what this game is about and it's sad that it is disappearing to this extent.
    would rather dominate by joining forces than compete for the sake of his own legacy and for the sake of competing
    supporters might say that he was doing the "unselfish" thing, sacrificing MONEY, STATS, and PERSONAL GLORY in order to compete for a title. But if people are considering those things to be the most important things in this league, then the NBA today has gotten way too superficial"
    As you read this you may be thinking it's about KD, well it's not. It is an article written about Lebron in 2010. Is anyone still saying Lebron has ruined his legacy (besides those blinded by hate)...the answer is no. KD's legacy will be fine as long as he wins championships without being carried. He's off to a pretty damn good start.

He remains humble and is a true man at the same time. Lebron had NOBODY kd had harden Westbrook sefolosha reggie Jackson ibaka etc etc . Get your stupid ass outta here boy DONT YOU EVER COMPARE KD LEAVING THE OKC TO LEBRON LEAVING AND THEN COMING BACK TO THE CAVS . the difference is , Lebron was welcomed back with open arms , kd can't ever come back && that's facts bitch

    tbh it is only fair that KD is there. Last years warrior team only has one shot creator in Curry, all the other guys need some one to get them their shots, so what happened was you took down curry and the whole team lost 50% of their fire power. Don't get me wrong, Klay can make shots, but he is not a shot creator, he cant penetrate like curry, he cant entire run the offense. The fact that they are so good even with just 1 shot creator was because they execute at the highest level, so getting them shots was never a problem until the finals, where curry got mentally and physically destroyed.
    on the other hands, there has always been 2 shot creator in Kyrie and Lebron in Cavaliers. But this year, KD got to GSW, So now GSW has 2 as well. 2 shot creators and execute at that level? There is no stopping it, unless Cavs get their shit together quick. Cavs have the talent to be as good as the GSW, they just need to figure it out and play together, so many break down mid games

      nah you are just salty that Cavs couldnot get their shit together, they are losing not because GSW is overpower, they are losing because they are not executing and play no defense on the other side.
      Game 3 proved Cavs has more than enough talent to beat GSW, Kyrie korver JR finally came to play, but love and TT are gone, if they are here they would have won even though their defense is still trash. Allowing the smallest guy on the court to get 13 rebound says a lot about the cavs effort

    He is 6’9 and lanky as hell but has the skill set of a 2 guard... he could be 5 inches shorter and probably still be an nba caliber player. Unreal, really

    I thought I read "human cupcake". Well, he still is. Media is over inflating his performance forgetting the fact that he joined a 73-9 win team that beat him, a very weak uncompetitive decision. "KD is happy" my ass, he literally broke the league and not in a fun way. How broken? People can now bet all their assets on GSW to win the championship every year- that kind of broken.

  • @Ladventures
    @Ladventures 7 лет назад +100

    Smh, people acting live Kevin Durant is the best player. I wonder why we didn't say that when he was at OKC? Oh yeah, because he wasn't as good because he didn't have 3 other superstars on his team to spread the floor. Of course he is going to look better now, the Cavs can't even play help defence because the warriors are so deep. It's why Javale McGee is starting to not look like a Shaqtin A Fool 2 time MVP.

    • @Ladventures
      @Ladventures 7 лет назад +5

      Can you people read. I said people are acting like he is THE BEST PLAYER. He's always been top 5, as cam said he won an MVP. But you can't say that Hes suddenly the BEST player. He's on the BEST team, of course he will play better. Also, Barnes averaged .446 in his years at the Warriors and averaged 10.1 so idk where you got your stats (playoffs maybe?). But it's clear that it's credit to the ORGANISATION as a whole. The same organisation that fostered STEPH KLAY AND DRAYMOND, THREE OTHER SUPERSTARS. Isn't it obvious that a team as deep as that would let you do what KD is doing. Sure you have to be a good player in the first place, but it doesnt mean you are now the BEST. Just think of what Lebron would be like on the warriors....
